It’s 1994, and Michael and Jennifer Special are just trying to help fund in the arts in their community, but their son Ricky is on the run from a school bully, and their daughter Zara is betting everything on a plan to start the school year as a popular girl. With a mix of '90s nostalgia, sitcom homages, and a healthy dose of humor, "Welcome, Freshmen" will teach you the joys of scented oxygen, the perils of Crystal Pepsi, and why you should never trust a math teacher to do "creative accounting" for the arts. Equal parts funny, smart, and a little messed up, just like Everly Heights itself.

When first we meet Alice she’s a curious girl fresh back home from a curious world. No one believes the tales that she tells, about the strange land through the hole which she fell. She returns there years later to prove she was right, and on the way she learns how to fight. She steals the Knave’s heart and meets her true genie. Red Queen and Jafar want to change magic’s rules. Three magic lamps are their chosen tools.

One contains Cyrus, so Alice is sore. She goes back to Wonderland one time more. Cheshire and fairies. Carpenter and Nix. Jabber is scary and the game is all fixed. Turns out Red Queen’s decent. She just wants Will back. But Jafar isn’t stopping down his dark track. Amara returns (did anyone catch when?) to make sure her sons are absolved of their sins. Sometimes inconsistent, but always “in-brand”, it’s time to wrap up Once Wonderland.
