Topo Chico, chilled
Fresh lime wedge for garnish
Add ice to your favorite glass, and pour in tequila and lime juice. Top of with Topo Chico, and garnish with a wedge a lime.

1 ½ ounces gin
½ ounce cherry brandy
¼ ounce Cointreau
¼ ounce Bénédictine
4 ounces fresh pineapple juice
½ ounce fresh lime juice
⅓ ounce grenadine
few dashes of Angostura bitters
Optional: Slice of pineapple or maraschino cherry, for garnish

Shake all ingredients and serve in your favorite glass garnished with a lemon peel.

1 oz gin
1 oz vermouth (sweet or dry)
1 oz Campari
Stir ingredients over ice to dilute. Serve in favorite glass with one large ice cube, garnish with lemon or orange peel.

#65 Molotov Cocktail + 2014 Ukrainian Revolution

Join the Whiskey Bench as they continue the Ukraine series. Last episode left off at the 2004 orange revolution, and today, the Bench fast forwards to cover the short and wild Maidan Revolution that occurred in 2014. In this episode Kat and Stephen dive into a timeline of events including NGO involvement, US government involvement, Neo-Nazis fighting in the revolution, and much more. Grab yourself a cocktail and get ready!

Molotov Cocktail (Torna original)

1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz fire ball
1/4 oz curacao
1 oz lemon juice
Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice. SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE. Strain into desired glass and proceed (using the backside of a barspoon) to gently pour a high proof liquor like Everclear or 141 rum. This will result in a layer of liquor to "float" on the surface. 1 1/2 oz Rose's lime juice
Stir gin and lime juice in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into your desired cocktail glass and garnish with a lime wedge.

1/2 oz pear liqueur
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 (spiced) grenadine
4 dashes peychaud's bitters

Join the Whiskey Bench in the final recording of 2021 as Kat and Torna see Henning off. The Bench dives into the basics of crypto, specifically bitcoin, ethereum, and NFT's. It's been a great year, and we're thankful for the time spent with Henning.

Cranberry Spritz
2 oz gin
1 oz cranberry and rosemary cordial
(2lb frozen cranberries, 2 cups sugar, 4 cups water, zest from 5 lemons, 3 cinnamon sticks, and 2-3 sprigs of rosemary. In a pan add cranberries and burst the berries the best you can (use a tool or just your hands). Add all other ingredients to the berries and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for about 5 min. Let cool and strain into a storage container.)
2 oz club soda
Add gin and syrup to ice and stir. Top off with club soda.

Hot Buttered Bourbon
2 oz Bourbon
Hot water
1 tsp (or to taste) spiced butter
Just add the ingredients together and stir!

Spiced Butter
1 cup unsalted butter
1/2 packed brown sugar
1 tbs maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cardomom
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Mix it all together and store in fridge or freezer.
