The debut podcast from the Institute for Lifecourse Development at the University of Greenwich, released in conjunction with Anti-Bullying Week and in association with the Anti-Bullying Alliance. If you're a teacher, childcare professional, parent, or anyone working with young people, you've likely witnessed or experienced the impact of bullying. But what can we do to mitigate the long-term harm caused by bullying? Can it be stopped? In this episode, Professor Peter Smith, a renowned child development expert from Goldsmiths University, joins Professor Claire Monks to discuss the causes, consequences, and solutions to bullying, including the unique challenges of cyberbullying. Together, they tackle a big question: can we put an end to bullying?

Links:

X: ILD | Institute for Lifecourse Development (@ILD_Greenwich) / X

LinkedIn:www.linkedin.com/company/uniofgreenwichild

Website: ILD | The Institute for Lifecourse Development | University of Greenwich

Prof Peter Smith: Professor Peter Smith | Goldsmiths, University of London

Prof Claire Monks: Claire Monks | People | University of Greenwich

Anti-Bullying Alliance: Anti-Bullying Week 2024: Choose Respect
