Ananda Xenia Shakti & Love Power The Band creates “Music for Body and Soul,Vibrational Healing and Celebrating the Festival of Life.”

After a successful career in the punk scene as the lead singer in an all girl band, touring with the Clash numerous times, and singing background vocals with Blondie, both in the studio and during live performances, Ananda discovered the teachings of yoga and never looked back. She took her high-spirited energy and love and directed it towards creating transformational music.

A Love Power The Band concert is a unique happening. When performed live, their songs become pieces of interactive music, where the hive that gathers for the show is given a part in the song and holds that down, dissolving the barrier between performer and audience, and handing the show over to the music and oneness. Interactive Music symbolically holds Ananda's vision of love, life and oneness. She believes we are born of the “Song of the Divine.” ”Our truest heart’s longing is to reunite with the Divine Song,’ she says. “We exist to remind each other. Remembering we can change the world and music is one of the greatest inspirations for transformation”.

Ananda receives the songs of Love Power the Band while in a semi trance state, acting as a conduit for “Higher Realm Wisdom.” She says, “The songs focus on offering blessings and inspiration to the listeners, while celebrating the innate Divinity that lives within every Soul. Love Power the Band's music asks you to sing, dance and be ready to hear cosmic truth spoken in straight talk.”

Ananda spends a good deal of time in India and incorporates the ancient language of Sanskrit into some of the healing tunes. Her vision is always focused towards merging opposites into “Oneness,”...ancient and modern, audience and band, dance and stillness, vibration and comprehension.

My "story" short version is that after healing myself of 7 years of chronic pain and several chronic diseases in 3 weeks - I was awakened to my passion to help others tap into their own unlimitedness of being and to heal their lives in whatever way is needed. I truly do understand how energy and emotions affect our lives and how we can use the power of our minds to heal, whatever needs some healing in our lives. .

I am an International best-selling author, speaker, intuitive, self-love activator, and media personality. I graduated from Penn State with a BA in Psychology and a keen interest in how our minds work. I am an intuitive healer, mind/body/spirit mentor, and energetic catalyst who inspires people to connect with their inner-power, develop greater healing & expansion and create the lives they desire. Breaking the cycle of trauma and abuse

We are sisters who weren't supposed to be friends. Growing up in a family with addiction, abuse, and mental illness harmed us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It also pitted us against each other. It was only when we married and began having children, that we looked back at our childhood and recognized the trauma we had experienced---we broke through our denial about how bad it really was.

It was our desire to be good parents---to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma and abuse---that set us on our healing journeys. We both followed conventional approaches to healing (counseling, Al Anon/ACOA groups), which gave us more insight, but they only took us so far. From there we have continued to explore yoga, meditation, energy healing, and intuitive work---all of which have brought amazing transformation in our lives, as well as the lives of those we love.

Now, our mission is to help others find the remarkable healing that we have experienced, both individually and in our relationship. We are sharing our story (in our book and podcast) to show other survivors of childhood trauma that there is hope----that it's possible to live free of the past, to be the person you were meant to be, and to build a peaceful, joyful life.

Jeff Rasley is the author of thirteen books; the most recent is A Pickleball Soap
Opera: Love, Murder, and Pickleball. He has published numerous articles in academic
and mainstream periodicals, including Newsweek, Chicago Magazine, ABA Journal,
Family Law Review, The Journal of Communal Societies, and Friends Journal. He is an
award-winning photographer and his pictures taken in the Himalayas and Caribbean and
Pacific islands have been published in several journals. He has appeared as a featured
guest on over 100 radio and podcast programs.
Rasley has engaged in social activism and philanthropic efforts from an early age.
In high school he co-founded the Goshen Walk for Hunger. In law school he was an
advocate for renters' rights as the leader of the first rent strike in Indiana, and he served as
a lobbyist and president of the Indianapolis Tenants Association. As an attorney for Legal
Services organization he was lead counsel on two class action suits on behalf of prisoners
which resulted in judgments requiring the construction of two new jails in Central
Indiana. Jeff founded free legal clinics at two inner-city churches. He was the lead
plaintiff in a class action requiring the clean-up of the White River after it was polluted
by an industrial chemical spill. He spent five days working for NOLA Habitat for
Humanity post Katrina. Jeff is the founder and former president of the Basa Village
Foundation USA, which raises money for culturally sensitive development work in the
Basa area of Nepal. He also served a term as president of Scientech, which promotes
science education. Jeff is a director of five other nonprofit organizations. In December,
2020 the Rasleys founded the Jeff and Alicia Rasley Internship Program for the ACLU of
Indiana.

Jeff is a partner in the eBook publishing company Midsummer Books and
provides writer-coaching services. He is U.S. liaison for the Nepal-based Himalayan
expedition company, Adventure GeoTreks Ltd. He has taught classes for IUPUI
Continuing Ed. Program, Indiana Writers Center, and Butler and Marian Universities.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Chicago, A.B. magna cum laude, Phi Beta
Kappa, All-Academic All-State Football Team and letter winner in swimming and
football; Indiana University School of Law, J.D. cum laude, Moot Court and Indiana Law
Review; Christian Theological Seminary, M.Div. magna cum laude, co-valedictorian and
Faculty Award Scholar. He has been admitted to the Indiana, U.S. District Court, and
U.S. Supreme Court Bars.
For chairing the Indiana-Tennessee Civic Memorial Commission Rasley and the
Commission received Proclamations of Salutation from the Governors of Indiana, Ohio,
Tennessee and Pennsylvania and he was made an honorary Lieutenant Colonel Aide-de-
Camp of the Alabama State Militia, a Kentucky Colonel and honorary Citizen of
Tennessee. He was given a Key to the City of Indianapolis for serving as an intern to
Mayor Hudnut and preparing a report on the safety conditions of all Indy Parks. Rasley
has received the Man of the Year award from the Arthur Jordan YMCA and the Alumni
Service Award from the University of Chicago.
Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and recreational athlete. He leads trekking-
mountaineering expeditions in Nepal and has solo-kayaked around several Pacific island
groups. He also loves to read and considers completing Marcel Proust’s 3600 page
Remembrance of Things Past as great an adventure as climbing Himalayan peaks and
solo-kayaking Pacific islands.

He is married to Alicia Rasley, an English professor and the author of historical
romances and writing craft books. Alicia is a RITA Award winner and her novel The
Year She Fell" was an Amazon-Kindle best-seller. Son James is an officer in the
National Guard, and Andrew is a tech supervisor with a film and TV production company
in LA.

Dayna Dunbar is an award-winning novelist published by Ballantine Books. In June 1994, Dayna had an encounter with an extraterrestrial being of light while camping in Sedona, Arizona and got guidance that she would one day write about this race of beings, and that began her writing journey.

Knowing that creating an awakened world with well-developed characters and a compelling storyline was far beyond her skills at that time, she followed guidance and began writing screenplays. She worked on the crew of several films, and this spurred her creativity even further. Dayna attended the University of Santa Monica and received her master’s degree in spiritual psychology. As part of this program, she wrote her first novel, The Saints and Sinners of Okay County, a story about a closeted psychic who overcomes her self-doubt to follow her own inner voice and find her authentic self. Upon graduating, Dayna received the University’s Student of the Year award along with bestselling inspirational author Iyanla Vanzant. Shortly after graduation, Dunbar’s first novel was published to excellent reviews and awards. Her second novel The Wings That Fly Us Home, a sequel to Saints and Sinners, also garnered wonderful reviews.

During this time, Dayna began ghostwriting memoirs for clients as well as writing and inspirational coaching. Then, in 2014, almost exactly twenty years to the day that she had the ET encounter, she was finally guided to begin the novel that started the whole journey, and she received the idea for Awake: The Legacy of Akara, a spiritual sci-fi thriller about an awakened race of beings. She wrote the first draft, but as originally believed, it turned out to be an enormous undertaking, and in order to complete it, she began working with the brilliant Julia Nadine Padawer, who she met at the University of Santa Monica. Together, they labored for seven years to perfect the manuscript and are thrilled to share it with the world at this turbulent time in the evolution of human consciousness.

Esther pivoted in her early 60’s from entrepreneur to the entertainment industry. Starting with voiceover work, acting and eventually began two podcasts/broadcasts during the lockdown in early 2021. More recently Esther has become very involved in content creation on social media. She presently has almost 25,000 followers on TikTok and her branded hashtag #ageisnotmycage , has over 4 million views on TikTok alone. For 4 years, Clayton, a software engineer, wrote state-of-the-art code for remotely piloted aircrafts. He lived in San Diego and had 2 beaches within a 30 second walk of his house. He had a reliable group of friends and many loving relationships. Yet, something was… wrong.

Everyone commented on how amazing his life was, but he didn’t feel it. It was as if people enjoyed hearing about it, more than Clayton enjoyed living it.

Isabel has been writing and winning competitions in writing from a young age, representing the island of Guam in national competitions. She has written and won several competitions most notably in France for Fescetival, an original song writing competition where she placed 2nd place and performed this song during Fete de la Musique also known as World Music Day where she was noticed by a journalist and showcased for the Philippines News Show "Balitang Europe" of News in Europe, as one of the Filipino artists showcasing their talents in Paris. Christy Crandall (formerly Toribio/Yearta) is a native of Santa Rosa, CA. Prior to working in the film industry, she served 20+ years in the Army culminating as an AG (Human Resource) Officer. Retiring from the Army in 2012 afforded her the opportunity to explore her passion in a new career field (in the film industry).

In addition to acting, she was an Executive Producer on her first film "My Brother's Keeper"(short film / 2015), which was an extremely rewarding experience.

Her current project is as a production supervisor for the upcoming horror film, “521 North Main Street”

Aside from the world of the filming, she enjoys traveling, and has visited multiple countries to include Bahamas, Mexico, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Lithuania, Poland, Austria, Malta, Italy, and most recently climbed Machu Picchu in Peru.

She holds a BA from the University of Tampa, and is currently studying at Full Sail University for a degree in digital cinematography.

After a successful career in the entertainment industry as an actor, he segued into the business side of the entertainment industry and started producing in 1995. He has an extensive history in the development, production and distribution of film, television and streaming content. As a producer, executive producer and owner of his own production company, Valentine held development/production deals at major networks and major production studios. Valentine left the entertainment industry in 2004 and moved into investment banking both as an equity investor and independent investment banker. He originally worked on developing and funding renewable/sustainable energy facilities as well as the delivery of power. Valentine’s introduction into investment banking was a managing partner in Merrit Capital, LLC. Valentine left Merrit Capital in 2005 to become a managing member of Excelsior Capital Partners. With a focus on the renewable energy sector to date, Excelsior Capital Partners has been responsible for structuring financing in the power delivery sector, real estate development markets, new technologies, food industry, senior assisted living as well as others. Valentine attended Adirondack Community College and Skidmore College while residing in Saratoga Springs, New York. Valentine moved to New York City in 1979 where he attended and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After surviving a near fatal accident in 1981, Valentine moved to Los Angeles in 1984 where the stigmatisms associated with the accident didn’t burden his career. Susan Lanier had a guest appearance on Welcome Back, Kotter where she played a flirtatious student named Bambi, who initially makes a move on Gabe. During the 1970s, she guest starred on shows such as Barnaby Jones, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, Alice, Police Woman and Eight is Enough.[1]

In 1976, she starred alongside John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt in the second pilot for Three's Company on ABC. Lanier, who served as the original choice by the producers to portray the newly created character Chrissy Snow, replaced Susanne Zenor in the cast when the characters, that were directly based from the original British sitcom Man About The House were done away with, but Lanier herself was then replaced by Suzanne Somers.[2] In 1977, Lanier starred in the original cult classic, The Hills Have Eyes. She also starred as Sandi Chandler on the television series Szysznyk from 1977 – 1978.

She was a series regular on Tony Orlando and Dawn's Rainbow Hour for a season on CBS doing stand-up and comedy sketches with the show's guests. In the late 1970s, Lanier starred at The Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles in a production of Tennessee Williams' (né Thomas Lanier Williams, to whom, like actress Diane Ladd, she is related) The Night of the Iguana, which starred Richard Chamberlain.

In the 1980s, Lanier had her own country-blues band and performed in the LA club scene. She wrote music with her future and now late husband, legendary rock/blues artist, Delaney Bramlett, writer of "Superstar" and "Never Ending Song of Love" fame.[citation needed]

She continued to act in movies of the week such as Madame X (1981), The Night the Bridge Fell Down (1983) and Her Life As A Man (1984), and had recurring roles on TV in the soap, Days of Our Lives, and the sitcom, So Little Time with the Olsen twins. She starred in 2003 in the Los Angeles stage production of Last of The Honkey Tonk Angels.[citation needed]

John Anthony has been a lifelong performer, but he only began to study acting in 2014 after auditing a class in Dallas TX. His previous experience prepared him well though, given John spent time on stage with the Improv Comedy troupe Comedy Sportz, based in Dallas. He committed his time and effort to delving deeper after that initial class, and he has never looked back. John considers himself fortunate to having studied under these amazing artists: Michelle Condrey, Jackie Burch, and Glenn Morshower.

Rather than choosing an existing movie scene to recreate in his classes, John took the road less traveled and wrote his own scene as an experiment. That was all it took to be bitten by the writing bug and bring the stories in his mind to life. Since taking that first leap in class performing original material, John has written and acted in more than fifteen short films, authored two screen plays with more ideas just waiting to be narrated in a script. Both his writing and acting have been laureled in multiple film festivals, including the Platinum Award for Best Actor in The Independent Movie Awards (Los Angeles, CA) and the Bronze Award for Best Drama for his short film “A Love Not Lost”. “A Family Matter”, “Rookies”, “Swimmers”, and his first film “A Gift” have been recognized with various awards and accolades.

John’s career branched out in recent years having booked local and national commercials with these companies: Ready Seal, Inc., H-E-B Grocery Company, LP, and Ambetter Insurance. Don’t be surprised when you hear his voice in advertisements, given he has booked some voice over spots too.

When he isn’t acting, writing, or directing, John enjoys working out and spending time with his family. He credits his wife, Anne, to be his biggest supporter. But be on the look out for his dog, Hank, who makes a cameo appearance in nearly every short film.

How a Veteran turned his traumas from PTSD to a Playwright and scriptwriter

A SOLDIER'S FINAL ACT

Synopsis:

In the past year more than twenty veterans a day ended their own lives. Suicide has also been the second highest reason for adolescent deaths.

Our story begins with a troubled veteran in a hotel room. He is seeking help from the VA and is distraught and at his end. He is carrying ghosts that will not let him be at peace. He ends up taking his own life.

We then find a family of three who are in the same room having difficulties of their own. The girl is 16 and goth. They are staying at the hotel due to their son who has been injured in a football accident. The father has never approved of his young daughter’s lifestyle or choices. The mother tends to side with the father which leads to arguments between the three of them. The father, disgusted, eventually leaves the room. The mother soon follows but has taken a pill from her purse. The daughter noticed the pills and is about to take her own life when the spirit of the veteran reappears. The girl senses a spirit close. The spirit sees her and what she is about to do. The dialogue between the two convinces the young girl that suicide is not the answer which leads to a reconciliation for the family.

In saving the young girl the veteran has redeemed himself and is transported into a bright light.

The second most honorable duty was my appointment as OIC of Funeral Detail at Fort Benning, Georgia, burying our fallen heroes. Sci fi actress legend Laura Banks shares her story and her transformation

Laura Banks is the actress and author who portrayed Khan's navigator in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. As an extra, she received no credit for her performance. Laura started out as an improv player in Spontaneous Combustion comedy troupe with Whoopi Goldberg at the Comedy Stores in LA and San Diego. She then got her first break in Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan (Paramount) and was then discovered by world-famous indie producer Roger Corman, to star in a series of B-films. Then back to the stage as a standup at The Original Improvisation (NYC) for three years, and then host of Inside Space (SYFY Channel) with lots more TV appearances with two books with Janette Barber on ABC World News, MSNBC and Fox News. Laura also hosted the podcast Love Online (Toginet) with Susan Winter from the Huffington Post and Star Gal Radio on traditional radio (CRN Digital Talk). Joe suffered from decades of health and mental health struggles that severely restricted his life before he came across the 3 Principles, first by reading a book and then discovering Sydney Banks. Brett Hill is a Somatic Mindfulness and Communications Coach who created The Language of Mindfulness®, soon to be a book, training, and TEDx talk (2022). He hosts the host of the Language of Mindfulness and Organizational Mindfulness podcast and co-founder of the The Future is Mindful virtual conference on the future of work.

Brett is also a published technologist with two Microsoft Press books, having worked as a technical storyteller and international speaker for Microsoft and others. His journey began as a produced screenwriter of several independent films, and spending 25 years as a professional stand up comedian. Feeling like his life had hit a wall, especially personally, with a divorce, being a single dad, stuck in a loop of bad relationships and struggling financially, John realized something needed to change. The Film Effect Podcast first started in early February 2021 by Ed Snyder, who co-hosted another film review show in 2020 with his teenage daughter Madilyn called Mad-Dad Movie Review. Ed had been wanting to do a second show so he could discuss films that he knew Madilyn wouldn't want to watch (let alone talk about for an hour afterwards), so he started this show a little later after Mad-Dad went on hiatus.

Originally he hosted the show solo. In fact, the first handful of episodes are just Ed for the duration. A little over a month after the premiere of the first episode (which was on True Romance), Ed brought in one of his best friends Sean Elliott and the two have been co-hosting the show together ever since (starting with the Heat episode). Every week the two select a movie to discuss from beginning to end, along with other things about the movie with the help of various categories that help with the flow of each episode. On top of that, the two usually discuss current events & other movie news for the first 15-20 minutes of each show (as well as offer movie recommendations from each co-host).

In 2008 Christen married her first love, Dustin. Sadly, just a year and a half later, Dustin ended his life. At 28 Christen was a widow, alone, and struggling to find meaning in her brief time as Dustin's wife. In her sorrow she turned to fantasy.

After Ranger leadership and patrol training, followed by Jungle Training with the Special Forces in Panama, he was sent to Vietnam as an Infantry Rifle Platoon Leader where he joined his new platoon during the heat of battle. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart for being wounded in action.

After the war he found refuge in acting and writing as an escape from his own demons and the fog of war. He is now an award-winning playwright having won First Place at the Smithfield One Act Play Festival and his plays have been featured in many locations in the U.S. as well as internationally. His very emotional play (Think Twice) about homelessness, was the second most read play on the internet and was produced by the Durban University Theater in Durban, South Africa.

Michael was once referred to as one of the lost veterans when he drifted into the mountains of Blue Lake, California, and lived alone in a trailer with his dogs. This is where he started the catharsis of writing, to expel all of the horrors he had experienced, and in his work are many of the truths he had to endure.

Michael was a part of the creative input and development of Vietnam War Stories, one of HBO's first successful mini-series.

He is also proud to say that he was invited to dance in the Circle of Warriors, and is an honorary member of both the Shoshone and Nez Perce Indian Tribes. He learned many things from his native brother warriors. The one thing that he cherishes most of all is learning to walk the Red Road in harmony with all living things.

In his latest work, A Soldier's Final Act, he also brings us closer to the alarming suicide rates of our Veterans. We are all familiar with the tragic statistics but very few of us actually know of one of these troubled souls.

In the past year more than twenty veterans a day ended their own lives. Suicide has also been the second highest reason for adolescent deaths.

In saving the young girl the veteran has redeemed himself and is transported into a bright light.

A VISION AT THE END OF THE ROAD

Here I am at last. So many miles and so many battles. From the bloody fields of battle in a war to the battles I have had to fight in my own psyche.

My emotions are overwhelming as I walk along the vast corn fields. I am crying and I begin running. I run for about a mile until I can see the final crossroads. I stop and stand on the corner for a minute listening to the crows and the wind as it gently breezes through the cornfields.

It is a sunny day as I walk slowly down the road. In the distance, I can see the old farmhouse materializing like a mirage growing in the desert. And then, my heart is overwhelmed as I see them. Two shirtless and dark tanned little blond-haired children playing in the yard. It is my daughter, Kelly, and my first-born son, Michael. I can see their dark bodies and their blond hair shining brightly from the sun. "Is that them? Could that be my children? Look at how beautiful they are." I think to myself. They are laughing and playing and my heart is filled with joy as they run to me hollering; "Daddy, it's Daddy!"

He cultivated his relationships with some of the industry’s greatest performers when he was the manager of Rascal’s Comedy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ. Jason has also performed all over New York City, including the clubs Carolines, Standup NY, and Dangerfield's.

Started in the biz March, 1977 Marion Adler of the Carson/Adler agency was his agent for 10 years. Landed the role in The Toy after 10 auditions & 2 screen tests. Shot "Kidco" in Tuscon, AZ in 8 weeks. His part in "A Christmas Story" was filmed in Cleveland, Ohio & St. Catherine's, Ontario, Canada over 6 weeks. Became President of "A Minor Consideration" in mid 2014. AMC as it's called is for the protection of children in the entertainment industry and has passed child labor laws in several states. AMC is a full 501c3 charity started in the late 1980s by Paul Peterson (Donna Reed Show), www.aminorconsideration.org Sept 2016 began shooting his own TV Talk show called "Flashback Fridays". Scott continues to Act to this day.

Vilanch is best known to the public for his four-year stint on Hollywood Squares, as a celebrity participant; behind the scenes he was head writer for the show. In 2000, he performed off-Broadway in his self-penned one-man show, Bruce Vilanch: Almost Famous.

From 2000 to 2014, Vilanch was the head writer for the Oscars, after being an Oscar program co-writer for the previous ten years. He is a featured writer for the Tonys, Grammys, and Emmys.
