Who’s worse, the beasts or the corporate slime that wants  them. All this and loading dock etiquette in Aliens from 1986.

Two Drink kicks off their Bill Paxton tribute shows with a western of sorts. When Caleb is lured in by the advances of the lovely Mae, he is brought into a world where night and blood are king. Can he surlvive her crazy road family and find a cure for his crazy affliction? You get all that and Bill’s bloody spurs in Near Dark from 1987.

Living in a podunk desert town got you down? How can things get any worse? Well when a quake opens up the ground, it lets loose a brand new species of bug that will literally burn all your expectations of creepy crawlies all that much more. You get all that and the Brady kitchen in William Castle’s last film Bug from 1975.

Beasts and Bugs Month starts with eco-horror glee with Day of the Animals!  X is back on with us for this month at least as we first dive into this film directed by the great William Girdler. With the o-zone depleting at a rapid rate, it is causing the people to be adventurous and animals to go crazy. When a group of unsuspecting tourists go on a hike in the mountains, they are attacked in by airborne and land creatures with hilarious results. Actually, it’s a tremendous piece of garbage. It’s like the movie equivalent of a Cleveland Steamer, except it’s on your eyes instead of your chest. However, it’s entertaining as hell, and we mean that in the cheesiest way possible.
