I think that Echoes of Wisdom is an absolute miracle, it's a game that shouldn't exist by all accounts, it's made in the Link's Awakening art style, Zelda is the protagonist and it's the first new original 2D Zelda in around 15 years. The Zonai were talked about a TON up until the release of Tears of the Kingdom, in the end they didn't end up being the "warlike, barbaric" tribe that creating a champion/masterworks painted them out as, so who WAS the tribe we were all speculating on for 4 years? 103: The Best Layer of Tears of the Kingdom’s World is... (Feat. The Cave Boys)

Tears of the Kingdom's world reuses assets from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it also adds 2 more layers to it's map, The Depths and the sky... Today, the cave boys and I (Hyrule Gamer and ZINK), come together to try and argue a point for each of these layers of the world of hyrule being the best map in the game. Are the depths the best, the biggest of the 2 new maps, housing zonaite, lore and everything else in between? Or is it the surface, a recontextualised world from the one seen in Breath of the Wild, with more lore and many destroyed settlements, or is it the sky, a vast plain forgotten long ago in lore that clouds the skies of Hyrule, we each argue our point for why our pick is the best and try and come up with a definitive conclusion of which map is the best in Tears of the Kingdom.

099: Tears of the Kingdom ”Fixed” THESE things from Breath of the Wild... (Legend of Zelda)

In my opinion, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has made Breath of the Wild feel like a tech demo... But how did we get into this situation? Well I think after playing BOTW over the course of years I found more and more that needed "fixing" in that game, stuff that could easily be improved upon... Which is why I bring the thesis of this video, I think that TOTK improves on a TON of stuff that Breath of the Wild introduced in the first place, as an example, dungeons is one of them that I include... By virtue of it being a sequel, TOTK has that edge over BOTW.

093: WHAT and WHERE are NEW Spirit Orbs? (Tears of the Kingdom Theory/Speculation)

Spirit orbs played an integral part in Breath of the Wild's story and it's gameplay loop, you go through a shrine and a spirit orb lays waiting for you, with an ancient sheikah monk on the other side of that spirit orb. Using the orbs you can increase your heart containers or your stamina vessels. This made for a fun gameplay loop... To this day though we don't really know what spirit orbs were... So today I want to discuss what Tears of the Kingdom's BRAND NEW spirit orbs could be, and where they might be in the map, could there be new shrines? Could they be out in the open world, in caves? We talk about all of that and more in this video on TOTK (The Sequel to Breath of the Wild!)

092: The Sheikah’s Role in Tears of the Kingdom (Zelda Speculation)

The sheikah played a huge role in Breath of the Wild, they created the divine beasts and the shrines that were used as trials for the hero and were one of the main reasons why the hero of the wilds actually won the battle against the calamity after failing 100 years ago. It can't be understated HOW much of a part to play the sheikah had in Breath of the Wild's story. But us not seeing anything in Tears of the Kingdom that shows us that the sheikah might be playing as large a role is interesting. We've not seen Purah, Robbie, Paya or Impa... Or any sheikah technology up until this point barring some smaller bits. So today I wanted to look at what kinda part the sheikah could play in Breath of the Wild's Sequels (Tears of the Kingdom's TOTK's), story and the gameplay itself. Hope you enjoy!

Ganondorf is one of the smartest villains in not just the Legend of Zelda series, but in the entirety of gaming as a whole, and he's possibly by far the most manipulative, with that in mind, Ganondorf has to have a plan in Tears of the Kingdom that we don't know of just yet, his plan can't just be to take over Breath of the Wild's Hyrule... I'm sure it goes much deeper than that. So today I discuss what Ganondorf's plan might be, along with WHY he'd do everything he'll do in-game. This includes the death of some characters and the involvement of characters like Teba and Yunobo. I also bring up the newest fan theory to do with Demise. 089: The Construct’s Origins and How they Might’ve been Built (Tears of the Kingdom Theory/Speculation)

This week we were treated to a gameplay trailer for Tears of the Kingdom, given to us by Aonuma. In this gameplay we got to see one of our first big enemies in TOTK, a construct, this construct drops a zonai charge, therby implying that they're going to have some kind of importance to the overall plot. So today I wanted to take a look at some other robots in the series, namely the Ancient Robots in Skyward Sword, and connect the dots to the point where I think the ancient robots are as good a guess as any as to WHAT these brand new zonai construct enemies could be.

Caves have been one of the biggest talking points when it comes to the sequel to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Tears of the Kingdom), it's always felt like a natural way to extend onto the already established world of Hyrule and give it a brand new lease at life, well yesterday we got a gameplay reveal for TOTK and I think it showed us some stuff that pretty much guarantees that we KNOW what Tears of the Kingdom's shrines are... And they aren't just normal shrines or normal mini-dungeons, but they're MUCH different in scale and could offer even MORE creativity than we saw in the shrines... I also discuss some shrine equivalents that might also give us heart containers and stamina vessels!

Enemy variety was one of the biggest problems that Breath of the Wild had in my opinion, especially when compared to the enemy variety of past Zelda games like Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time in particular... And now we've been given a look at some of the enemies in Tears of the Kingdom... And it seems like there has been some changes in this regard, we see redeads, possibly a like-like, kargaroks, maybe even gleeok... But today I want to go one step further and ask the question of which past enemies WOULD fit in Tears of the Kingdom's world with the small amount of knowledge we have right now... Enemies like Darknuts, Gibdo's and a few others! So tune in to listen to some enemies that I think would fit the tone of TOTK's (BOTW2, Sequel to Breath of the Wild), world, and how we'd fight them!

I happen to think that Dungeons are the lifeblood of the Legend of Zelda series so I've been VERY excited to see a dungeon in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK), and today I throw up some places that I think could make for good dungeon locations in the hopes that we can try and deduce whether or not we've seen a dungeon in the sequel to breath of the wild... At this point in time, there have been so many trailers already and there probably will be more for the game... But for now I want to check places like the caves, the sky islands, the upside down pyramid and the usual overworld of Hyrule from Breath of the Wild. Well after the latest trailer for Tears of the Kingdom I think we can say with a good amount of certainty that TOTK will have an even BETTER AND BIGGER sandbox than Breath of the Wild's Hyrule, including caves, sky islands and whatever else. The tone seen in every single trailer for Tears of the Kingdom has been quite different, usually it's a sunlit location with Link running through it, sweeping shots of the landscape and what we might be doing in the world. This trailer gave us something brand new that we haven't seen since the E3 2019 trailer for this game, a MUCH darker tone, so today I discuss why I believe Tears of the Kingdom could have one of the darkest tones of any Zelda game, in the 3D games I'm guessing it'll be up there with Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess... In some areas.

With Breath of the Wild 2 (The Sequel to the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) being delayed recently, I think it's important that we look at a trend that's stood true for the zelda team since 2013 now, there's been a new zelda game in some form since then, whether it be a spin off, port, remaster, new game or something completely different there has always been a game every single year, so today I think it's important that we look at which games could be released on the switch this year now that the delay has taken place, I'll discuss options like new 2d ports, Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD, Spin off games and a brand new 2d game. Today I'm going to be ranking every single mainline zelda game from worst to best so that you guys can finally see my opinion on every game, I'm ranking each game on 4 different things, the dungeons, the open world, the story and atmosphere and the items, this can act as a guide for which games in the series to buy if you'd like it to be but overall this is just my opinion, so leave your opinion in the comments and let's have a respectful discussion if you disagree or agree!
