Unmasking the idols of Our culture to live with Jesus as Lord.

The early church grew in a context of imperial domination and pagan idolatry. Followers of Jesus had to learn how to live with a transformed mind, not conforming to the pattern of the world around them. In our generation we often find ourselves participating in systems which oppress us and others. How do we understand the times and know which way to go, being salt and light in a hyper consumeristic, hyper connected society filled with despair, distraction and greed?

Throughout the western world, every measure of mental health is getting worse for every demographic. The rise of individualisation and the fabric of community under threat, what is the role of the church in establishing , mentally health communities and showing the love of God.

Walking in the Good Way. This workshop is an opportunity to explore how we are formed in the way of Jesus and how we can bring greater alignment between what we say we believe and how we actually live.
