According to data collected by the Bureau of Labor Statistic in 2023. 69% of Americans spend over an hour a day commuting to work. 4% percent of the population representing millions of Americans have to use public transit

Average commutes could take hours a day.

The US Census Bureau shows commute times are longer for low-income workers and people of color, particularly those using public transportation.

These differences are linked to historical and ongoing inequities in housing and economic opportunities.

Yet employers are not required to compensate for travel time….

Proper Compensation being a key target for the our campaign we wanted to highlight this disparity between employer and employee. There is a definite correlation to your jib title and your experience commuting to work either by car or train or bus for that matter.

CEOs and Upper management: Access to company CC

Company cars

More disposable cash and salary packages with commuting compensation included

We want to highlight these for two reasons. One, to give you actual information on what your recourses are when treated improperly in the work place by management. Two, we wanted you to have more clarity about how this employee took this experience and leveraged the existing polices to fight back. All the rights that he exposed are yours to use to your avail as well.
