Barrett Todd is a christian missionary, founder of Sports Disciple, who has been based in Haiti for 8 years after receiving a vision from God back in 2013. The vision was a blueprint that’s currently leading him to develop an international, multi-sport, Christian Discipleship program that is raising thousands of selfless Christian leaders. Barrett did not grow up in a Christian home and had no desire to be in Haiti when the opportunity was first presented to him, but after seeing the overwhelming need, and hearing directly from God, he quickly sold everything he had and moved his entire family to Haiti.

To start off, we’re breaking down a song I wrote back when I was 17 years old! This is a bit embarrassing, but it’s a song that God continued to bring back into my memory as I began to get closer and closer to Him. I wrote these lyrics 8 years ago and as I randomly recited them in the shower I started to realize there was a lot of Biblical references and its was weird because at the time I wasn’t even reading the Bible. So I think this will be an interesting start and the fact I have Carlos joining us, a Man of God who’s greatly impacted my walk with Jesus, you’re bound to get some wisdom.

I rarely spoke in this episode because I was just in awe of everything that was said and honestly I just didn’t want to get in the way.
