Aaron, Jamie, Jarad and Kieran are back to discuss The Greatest Movie Not in the English Language Ever!

What that basically means is, any film not in English, but there are some stipulations in place for this - otherwise Kieran would have a top 10 of Akira Kurosawa and Aaron would have a top 10 of Studio Ghibli films and Jarad would have a top 10 in films he hasn't actually seen - which isn't too dissimilar anyway.

These stipluations are that the guys can only choose 2 films (animated or live action) from the same country. So, only have 2 films from France, or Japan etc.

The guys will take it in turns picking their top 10 favourite movies. Depending on where the film gets picked, it will get points;

1st place gets 10 points

2nd place gets 9 points
3rd place gets 8 points and so on...

Whichever film gets the most points at the end will be declared: The Greatest Movie Not in the English Language Ever!

The guys discuss the draft of 2025, and declare the winner, and the losers of the draft - whilst looking ahead to 2026, and the movies they are excited about seeing.

The Draft and how it works:

The guys will be looking ahead at movies to be released in 2026, and choosing which films they believe will receieve the HIGHEST CRITIC score on Rotten Tomatoes. They are only allowed 5 films each, and each film can only be selected ONCE - so there has to be some strategy involved. This year they have added an extra safety net film - in case one of their films does not get released!

Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) is born in the Scottish Highlands in the 16th century. After reviving from a fatal wound, MacLeod is found by swordsman Ramírez (Sean Connery) who explains they and others were born immortal, invincible unless beheaded. Immortals wage a secret war, fighting each other until the last few remaining will meet at the Gathering to fight for the Prize. In 1985, the Gathering is finally happening in New York City and MacLeod must make sure the Prize is not won by his oldest enemy, the murderous Kurgan (Clancy Brown).

2021 Draft

Jamie, Aaron, Jarad and Kieran look to the films to be released in 2021.

Each person will select five films in a snake-like draft, only one movie can be picked by one person. The results will be tallied at the end of the year on December 31st 2021, based off their Rotten Tomatoes score. Every percent over 70% will get a point, a movie will get a bonus 10 points if it achieves a 100% score, and an additional 10 points if the movie is rated 'Certified Fresh'. Any score under 70% will be deducted a point each percent it scores under. If a movie is not released in 2021, the movie will score 0 points. The person with the highest overall score at the end of the year will be declared 'The Draft King'.
