In this episode, T sits down with Nashville-based producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Tanir Morrison. They discuss his upbringing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his early years playing drums, his time at Berklee College of Music, and how the pandemic landed him in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, and his plans for 2026.

Tanir co-owns and operates Brunjo Music Productions, a studio tucked in the woods just outside of Nashville in Kingston Springs. He studied Music Production & Engineering and Songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston, completing what should have been a five-year program in four. After getting stranded in Nashville during COVID, he and his partners spent over a year renovating the space from the ground up before eventually investing in an Audient 8024 console that has become the centerpiece of their sound.
Over the past several years, Brunjo has grown from a pandemic passion project into a full-service production company, working across multiple albums and projects simultaneously.

Most recently, Tanir produced and engineered Pastures, the latest album from long-time collaborator Natalie Del Carmen, a live-tracked Americana record that represents some of his most personal and committed work to date. He also discusses a deeply moving experience playing live music for inmates at Parchment Penitentiary in Mississippi, and an upcoming recording project connected to that visit.

Follow Tanir:

YouTube: @TanirMorrison
Website: www.brunjo.com
Instagram: @tanir_morrison

Follow Brunjo on Instagram:

@brunjomusic

Listen to Pastures by Natalie Del Carmen on Spotify:

https://open.spotify.com/album/5l0PyWVsApCKBHKEo0r0hz?si=rwVBGOo0Req44fMF4WYemQ

________________________________________________
About the hosts:

Tyler (T.
