This week the guys talk about the 1999 Tim Burton film Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, and a whole bunch of popular and great actors from Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Batman. What happens when you try to Tim Burtonize the classic tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman well you get a pretty underwhelming film, with a lot of unnecessary plot lines, weird character choices, and Casper Van Dien saying just enough lines. Horror So Bad It's Good: Dead and Breakfast

This week the boys return to everyone's favorite movie discussion segment Horror So Bad It's Good. This week Kyle and Matt introduce Jarred to a movie that has a very special nostalgic place in their hearts: Dead and Breakfast. This early 2000s Comedy Musical Fantasy Horror kind of Zombie flick, starring a surprising amount of famous people and at least a handful of highly recognizable people. On the way to a wedding, a group of friends stops in Lovelock TX after getting lost and taking too many drugs. They spend the night in a Bed and Breakfast only to awaken to find the chef murdered and the owner dead of a heart attack. At a breakneck speed, the town is taken over by a Zombie-esque horde run by a Kuman Thong attempting to kill the group. This 00's gore fest is filled with tons of slapstick humor, dad jokes, character tropes, and a solid amount of really catchy musical numbers. Find out what the guys think now that they're older and in a clear state of mind.

Get ready to hear the guys discuss this failed attempt at a Meta-Horror with a slight Cerebral twist and copious amounts of Hellraiser Lore forcefully injected into every inch of this movie unnecessarily.

Like seems to happen every year the boys ended their previous season even though they don't have seasons and now they're back, and what better way to celebrate the return than with a return to everyone's favorite Bad Horror commentary series Horror So Bad It's Good; this time in the spirit of the holidays the boys watched "Silent Night" the 2012 loose remake of the 1984 controversial cult classic "Silent Night Deadly Night". This holiday movie is chocked full of a Killer Santa doing Killer Santa stuff, a handful of recognizable actors, terrible dialogue delivered terribly, no magic even though there were a few hints for no reason, pervy priest, Douchey Santa, Frank the Softcore Porn Guy, other Evil B-Plot Santa, and so many lens flares you normal-eyed people will finally understand the plight of those with an astigmatism! This was a bad one but you know what they say start the year off bad so there's no where to go but up!

Horror So Bad It's Good: Totally Killer

The Dark Rum Podcast where we discuss Monsters, Myths, & Mayhem. The Boys needed a nice relaxed day so they are back to discuss another horror film so bad it's actually pretty good. This time they are leaving the realm of campy 80's and 90's horror films and take a look at the brand new 2023 Slasher flick with a Time Travel Twist "Totally Killer". The guys went into this one with high hopes after a strong trailer but in the end they were left feeling very little for the movie while at the same time enjoying the watch. One of the more conflicting movies of the series; a cast of strong actors playing their parts well (but we didn't care about any of them), a fun twist on time travel and the slasher genre (but it made little to no sense), and tons of solid comedy (that sometimes felt really out of place). All in all I think this one might fall under the umbrella of "Horror So Bad It's Ok".

(Also Kiernan Shipka, Jarred is expecting you at his party this year since you kept visiting it in this movie and didn't wish him a Happy Birthday once. So we'll see you there.)

This week the guys breakdown a movie that on paper should have been at least ok, a horror sci-fi flick that is equal parts alien and zombies in space, with a cast of relative unknowns aside from Thomas Jayne and Bruce freaking Willis, a movie so mysterious that it is honestly impossible to find its budget anywhere, a movie that was so mishandled that they released it in the height of the pandemic to a whooping box office pull of less than $40k. That's right we're talking the 2020 complete horror/sci-fi flop that was Breach (or Anti-Life), a movie so bad it made us rethink how harsh we were on previous movies, a movie so bad it's ranked in the bottom 100 movies of all time, a movie so bad we couldn't tell if the big name actors in it were either: drunk, suffering from health issues, or court-mandated to be in the movie; a horror/sci-fi film so bad it's good? No, but it's funny to hear us discuss it.

Horror So Bad It's Good?: Dracula 3000

That doesn't mean the fun of talking about horribly good Horror B movies has to end (or maybe it did). This week the guys discuss: Dracula 3000. NOT a sequel to Dracula 2000, no matter how little sense that makes. This sci-fi horror flick starring such names as Starship Trooper alum Casper Van Dien, rapper Coolio, and Friday's Tiny Lister (to name a few). Follow this rag-tag crew of space-fairing "criminals" (we think) as they find a ship that has been lost for 50ish years. The ship is completely empty and derelict filled with no signs of life. The crew discovers coffins and then immediately start getting picked off by a Naruto running Dracula. One by one the crew, led by Captain Van Helsing (not as important as you might think) start dropping like flies. Hear the guy's reactions to possibly one of the worst movies they've ever seen on this week's episode!

Hear our reaction to this modern Goosebumps-esque movie that is weirdly family-friendly and oddly loveable.

A delightfully absurd romp through, probably the worst-run summer camp in existence, staffed by some of the worst people to ever be allowed near kids, and filled with the worst kids to ever roam the earth. Follow Angela as she is relentlessly bullied for next to no reason, as her cousin Ricky tries to protect her at every turn. This movie has it all: Summer camp antics, young love, tons of inappropriate interactions, and a body count that is surprisingly high. As staff and campers alike start dropping in spectacularly creative ways. Sleep Away Camp delivers on the campiness but also with some incredible Effects. Joined by the weakest sharpshooting sheriff in history (Lou Diamond Phillips) and tagalongs the horrible acting CDC guy and mysterious science guy shrouded in shadow, to try to find a way to stop Super Bats capable of infecting other Bats with knowledge and hunger??? From a lack of understanding of what Flying Foxes are to the World's Greatest Bat Radar that is not explained ever this movie is filled with so much ridiculousness that even we struggle to answer: Is this even Horror So Bad It's Good?

She was instructed by a medium to keep building so that she would be able to avoid the ghosts. In the end she built a magnificent 24,000 square ft mansion with: 10,000 windows, 2,000 doors, 160 rooms, 52 skylights, 47 stairways and fireplaces, 17 chimneys, 13 bathrooms, 6 kitchens and more.
