I, like many, regard Black Snow (Blacks Now) as a godfather of rhyme, and did much to lay the foundation for Houston Texas to become the home to a collective of FIRE poets, while keeping ablaze himself.

He has a huge part to play in Houston's poetry becoming a profession as the founder of Snow industries. In fact, Black Snow was responsible for many of my early poetry features.
