"Delegates at the conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, made history by voting overwhelmingly to end the denomination’s ban on gay marriage and the ordination of people involved in same-sex relationships," The Christian Post reported. Blair recently visited with Zimou Tan, a portrait artist, to learn about his inspiration as well as his decision not to show Jesus' face in his religious-themed works. 

"It's kind of ironic in the way that I painted Jesus because I never painted Jesus with a straight on portrait," Tan told Blair. "A lot of times I either put Him under shade, under the shadow or thinking really small, the face is not clear enough. I'm a portrait specialist. Portrait is my specialty, but I do not have that courage. I don't think that I have that right to narrow down how Jesus looked like."

The district, which had long partnered with ACU, reportedly recently made the decision to ban student teachers from its classrooms over the college's biblical views on marriage, despite a purportedly positive experience with the school.

Now, ACU is fighting back, filing a complaint through the Alliance Defending Freedom.

The book, " A Smart Girl's Guide: Body Image," is intended for young girls — but the text integrates transgender ideology and has, thus, created a stir among parents, activists, and journalists alike.

"They introduce puberty blockers, and it basically says if you're uncomfortable with changes in your body you can go to a doctor and he or she will prescribe medicine — they don't say blockers, but they say medicine — to delay the changes that puberty brings," Christian Post reporter Brandon Showalter explains.

Brandon Showalter, a reporter with The Christian Post, breaks down the inside story on this important topic impacting Christian communities.

"Ogden, who fathered two daughters and a son, and served a combined 42 years at two area churches, including the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, retired in 1993 after signs that he was hiding an ugly truth began to emerge," Leonardo Blair recently wrote on The Christian Post. "The man who had declared that he 'loved being a servant of the Lord' was also a serial sexual predator who had an attraction for sex with young boys, which he once allegedly likened to a 'dentist that eats candy.' Ogden’s addiction was so deep that even at the age of 80, eight years before his death, he was still allegedly actively engaged in his predation."

Blair joins "The Inside Story" to break down the details and explain the tragic elements.

"I wish I could say I am shocked," Giatti said of the results. "So many churches now are kind of moving away from a grounding in biblical theology and moving into other things."

"Something inside me snapped, and I just thought, 'Well, I've just got to dig into this and scrutinize this more deeply because this is absolutely insane,'" Showalter said. "I just remember thinking to myself, 'They're doing what to children?!'"

"They've just got the public -- a large swath of them -- in a psychological straightjacket of deceit," Showalter said. "The truth will ultimately win out, but we have to keep telling it."
