Lindsey is the CEO of Ritual Hot Yoga, a series of luxury yoga studios in San Francisco and Chicago, with a unique offering. When you walk into Ritual, it feels like home, it’s all-inclusive and the classes themselves are set in a heated, candlelit room, with pumping music. It’s a mix of soul-searching meditations, vulnerability, challenging flows, and nourishing moments of massage and eucalyptus towels. 

I’m personally a huge fan, and have been since their early pop-up days. But the real reason that I wanted to talk to Lindsey about her journey creating Ritual, isn’t just the incredible experience she creates for her clients, but what happens behind the scenes. 

Ritual employees are salaried, with full benefits. They are given free rein to own not only their classes but other parts of the business that they would like to explore, in order to grow as professionals. All of which is unheard of in the world of fitness studios.

Travel blogging is one of my top fantasies when it comes to living an alternative life. There are so many examples of people who appear to be out there living the dream when it comes to blogging or being an influencer, and I wanted to be really careful about who I chose for this interview. 

Michelle is awesome because she always keeps it real online and I knew she would do the same for this interview. 

She didn't disappoint. 

In the episode we talk about her journey to being a travel blogger, how to make money as a blogger, the logistics, the mindset of being an entrepreneur and more. 

Jelle is an author, entrepreneur, and thought-leader about positivity. His blog soCHICKEN has a huge following in the Netherlands, when he lives with his partner and newly adopted baby boy. 

This episode we talk about how he travels for months out of the year, being an entrepreneur, how to prioritize life for maximum happiness and more. 

We learn how Rachel’s trip to Cambodia during university led to her moving across the globe to  create a company that has since grown into a multinational business. 

With the help of her Cambodian management, Rachel owns and oversees the entire lifecycle of manufacturing as well as the sales online, in-store in San Francisco, as well as through partners. This level of ownership is a unique aspect that is generally unheard of in clothing production, which affords her to make sure that the brand has complete control over making it zero-waste as well as the ability to create career growth opportunities to Tonlé’s employees across the globe.

The couple, along with their 2 children and dog, spend their days leading people from around the world on epic adventures throughout Europe.

I joined them on the bus for a week-long trip through the most northern part of Norway in the Summer of 2019. If you can, check out the video version of the pod so you can see the inside of the bus and footage from the trip.
