Season 17's classic story, "The Creature From The Pit"!</p><p>Season 17 turned out to be a special season for quite a few reasons:<br>- 17 was Graeme William’s last year as Producer<br>- 17 was also Douglas Adam’s last year as script editor<br>- 17 was the final season of incidental music by Dudley Simpson<br>- 17 was the final season of Tom Baker’s amazing tunnel intro sequence<br>- 17 was the first season of Lalla Ward playing Romana II<br>- 17 had David Brierly voicing K9 instead of John Leeson</p><p>The Creature From The Pit also had a few "milestones":<br>- The first produced story featuring Lalla Ward as Romana II (though not the first story broadcast)<br>- The last story directed by Christopher Barry who had directed various Doctor Who stories as far back as William Hartnell's era</p><p>I am flying solo in this episode of the podcast, as Collin is busy moving residences and saving his company from certain disaster.</p>]]>

He has plans of his own for the planet of mathematicians, Logopolis, and a plan that could spell doom for the entire universe.</p><p>Could this mean the unravelling of the causal nexus and the end of the universe itself?</p><p>The Doctor must pit his wits against the Master in a desperate battle to thwart his plans.
