You've seen her in Dune, Twin Peaks, The Sopranos, and Longlegs. But before Hollywood, she was a child prodigy from Worcester, Massachusetts. She was reading Shakespeare as a toddler, playing piano like she'd done it in another life (her words, and she means it literally). At seven, a wildly unlikely chain of events led her to meeting the filmmaker David Lynch, and a role in Dune became a friendship and spiritual mentorship that shaped the rest of her life.
