Blossom, however, learns about his past.

Along the way, the villagers confront both the emotional and physical tolls of the disaster, and the storyteller reveals how the Broken Mountain got the name.

Rule 16: Remember H.O.R.S.E. Heroes Obligingly Ride Support Equus

Forte delivers a show-stopping performance and simultaneously uncovers the dark intentions of Libra. Meanwhile, the Merry Band of Heroes finds themselves facing off against corrupt elected officials as they strive to protect the citizens of Tarin.  Sparrow takes on Funda, in a battle for cover. Forte blips in and out of the plane while Tesith tries to stab him, and Trevor and Horse Tango take on the beast that is Doran Keenseeker. Straight Pandemonium ensues, but I guess that wouldn't be a  Grand Ball without some drama.

The Harvest Gala is finally here, and our Merry Band of Heroes (and their bard) are finishing their preparations and finalizing their plans. Trevor seeks advice about mingling with the upper-crust of Tarin, and then tries his hand at being an inspiring leader. Sparrow gives Forte some much needed encouragement, and tries to talk Tango out of a secret plot. TBD finally makes their societal debut in Tarin; Forte schmoozes with practiced ease, and “merchant-king” Lord Honeypot is a surprising hit. An encounter with a mysterious stranger leaves Sparrow feeling unsettled.

Forte, also known as TRN-009, grapples with the loss of his memories, teetering on the brink of forgetfulness. As he faces the impending void, his consciousness clings to the cherished memories of his late wife, Julia. Meanwhile, the remaining members of TBD find themselves thrust into a perilous confrontation within the lair of a Queen Arcane Devourer, a monstrous Giant Spider. Rule 6: It’s Not the Size of the Weapon, It’s How You Use It

Forte is in a mysterious void. Or dire peril. Or both. Trevor tries to soothe his sore heart by throwing himself into his work. Sparrow leads TBD, with new honorary member Sog, to the scene of the crime. Sog confronts his fears, and Tango tries out everyone else’s weapons. Our heroes learn a little bit more about what the hell is going on, in arguably the worst possible way.

Sparrow meets a kindred spirit and does some epic Heroing. Tango communes with his matriarch. Trevor tries to keep everyone on track, and Forte comes to a realization.

Forte tries to use his words and digs himself and Sparrow into deeper trouble with the mob. Trever gets to know a local city official. Sparrow learns about a heroic opportunity. Tango and Forte officially join To Be Determined, and the newly expanded merry band of heroes begin investigating the disappearance of several people in the district of Lower Tarin. As they start forming a theory of the case, Tango's mistrust of boats deepens.
