What happens when you stop playing it safe and start seeking the truth of God with everything you have?

Welcome to Save a Seat, a podcast hosted by Christian Makoa and Cole Fryar. This show was born out of a simple vision: to share the things we are actively learning as we aim to live out our faith with boldness and transparency.

The title is our mission. We save a seat for Jesus as the center of every conversation. We save a seat for the guests who join us to share their stories. And most importantly, we save a seat for you, the listener, to join a community that isn’t afraid of the deep end.

We believe the Gospel should be shared without a filter. That is why we are diving into a wide range of topics that define our generation. We talk about the Bible and the nuances of modern relationships. We also tackle the heavy cultural issues that many avoid, including abortion, the LGBT movement, the impact of technology on the soul, mental health, and the future of the Church.

Inspired by a raw and cinematic approach to faith, this podcast is for those who are hungry for something real. We are not here to compromise or ride the fence. We are here to stand firm, speak the truth in love, and encourage you to do the same.
