Running, Life and Stuff is a brand-new, fortnightly podcast launched by Craig on 2 January 2024, where he chats all things … well … running, life and stuff.

Craig’s a trail runner, coffee lover and adventure seeker. He’s also an ordinary guy in his 40’s, with a hectic job in the health and fitness industry, who unexpectedly found himself back on the dating scene after his marriage ended during lockdown.

In 2023 Craig took part in the Race Across Scotland, a 215-mile ultra marathon covering one of Scotland’s greatest trails, The Southern Upland Way. Both the training for and participation in this epic event have left Craig with many tales to tell. Tales that will appeal to anyone who knows how it feels to push their body and their mind to the absolute limit!

Joining Craig as co-presenter for the pod is Anna Tyler (aka Tyles). Anna has more than 15 year’s broadcasting experience as a News Editor, journalist and presenter. Having been part of the Capital East Midlands breakfast team Dino, Pete and Tyles, Anna is now freelancing for media giant Global Radio.

If you would like to discuss a collaboration or sponsorship opportunities, please get in touch with the Pod at craig@runninglifestuff.com

In this episode, Craig and Anna speak to Colin, the owner of Colpod - a Podiatry and Therapies clinic in Chesterfield. It's a goldmine of practical advice—highlighting how subtle biomechanical issues, like improper big toe function, can lead to recurring hip pain or inefficiencies in gait. Colin explains how early intervention, movement analysis, and personalised insoles can not only address injuries but optimize performance. With a friendly, down-to-earth tone, the episode encourages runners to be proactive about body awareness, recovery, and long-term running health.

In this episode of Running Life and Stuff, Craig and Tyles chat with Aidan aka The Irish Physio about smart recovery, injury prevention, and why sleep might be the most powerful training tool of all. Aidan shares tips from elite athletes and his own journey through injury, while gently nudging runners to slow down and listen to their bodies.

Meanwhile, Tyles remains firmly team Peloton—because chasing Cody Rigsby is way easier than chasing Craig. 😄
