In a world where privilege not only provides you with education and opportunity, but also time to explore your choices, to grow and understand privilege and systematic differences is to acknowledge the inequities within the systems that we have lived through. Today Calafia Fellow Katelyn Chang talks to Rubi Salazar, first generation immigrant and community activist, who witnessed first hand what it was like to be a stranger to the American education system.
