She joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2006 as a strategy consultant supporting R&D senior executives on transformational projects with global and humanitarian implications. She began working to design and launch thePULSE Volunteer Partnership in January 2009, motivated by the opportunity to bridge public and private sectors towards achieving positive sustainable change, particularly in the health arena. She has been serving as leader of PULSE since the April 2009 global launch. Ahsiya graduated from Swarthmore College and received her M.A. and Ph.D. in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
