Lydia Kapp Gutilla was a Theatre and Spanish double major at SMU in the class of 2008. Currently located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where she is studying for her private pilot's license, Lydia works as an actress, writer, and all around storyteller. She also does karate, sings like a boss, and is particularly good at being tall and proud of it.

Recovering Banker and Medical School Student Tyler Douglas Anderson

Tyler Douglas Anderson is part of the 2014 batch of President's Scholars. He graduated with degrees in political science, public policy, economics, and business with a minor in mathematics. After SMU, he started working for Bank of America Securities (formerly Merrill Lynch) in their Public Finance Investment Banking Group, where he works with public and not-for-profit entities to underwrite bonded debt.

Emergency Medicine Physician and Dual Pool Aficionado Dr. Jupin Malhi

Jupin graduated SMU in 2010, went to Baylor for medical school, did residency in Emergency Medicine at Columbia and Cornell, and is currently working at UT Southwestern. Her driving life purpose is to one day have two pools.

Magician and Ex-Deloitte Consultant Trigg Watson Burrage

Trigg Watson Burrage is part of the 2012 batch of SMU President's Scholars. He graduated with dual degrees in business management and theater studies, which was a perfect combination to prepare him for his career as a magician.

He grew up in Townsville Australia, moved with his family to New Orleans, then to Dallas for SMU, and just a few months ago drove a gigantic truck of all his worldly possessions and magic props to Los Angeles.

Trigg has received several awards for his performances, most notably placing as the highest scoring American magician at the World Magic Contest in Las Vegas, and two-time winner of the Texas Magicians Contest. He was also named the 2013 Dallas Performing Artist of the Year and 2015 Dallas Magician of the Year. He has appeared on on POP TV’s hit reality magic show “Don’t Blink”, Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us,” and Masters of Illusion on the CW. He's also consulted for the hit Netflix show "Magic for Humans."

Trigg keeps busy performing for corporate events, universities, and cruise ships around the world. Attend one of his shows (like his monthly Wine and Magic show in Dallas), and he’ll have you question what’s possible and laughing along the way.

He's also one of my best friends :D
