We finally get to sit down with Wayne Martin, owner of Ground Effects! I have known Wayne for over 15 years, and we are really close friends. He was the one who I worked with before I started Lawn Care Ninja, and he is ALSO the person that sold me part of his business for $4,000. Listen as he recounts the summer and what he plans on doing in the fall. We talk about an ordeal that happened when I was his employee, yet he handled it with care and turned it into a learning experience.

Of course, you all know Eamon. He just wrapped up his 2022 mowing season and is ready for the snow to fall. Having at least 20 snow customers is a great start! He might have more if he determines he can handle more than 20 for one storm.... Sounds like a lot to me, especially with driveways to do when the snow gets deep! However, I have faith that he can handle it all and more with his Toro 821 R-C snowblower! Who knows, maybe he will give me a call and ask him to help if it gets bad enough!

Welcome to the first official Lawn Care Accelerator Podcast Series! In this first episode, we sit down and chat with Eamon Giboo, owner of Giboo Lawn Services. Serving the Castle Rock, CO area, and a former USPS mail carrier, he went from part-time in 2021 while still working his mail job and made it to full-time in 2022! Listen as he talks about his setup. He got the Ramp Rack Sport this past April and loves it after seeing @MikeAndes and @keith-kalfas show it off. He uses a Toro TimeMaster and EGO Trimmer and EGO Blower. He's had some issues with the equipment he is using, from broken belts and bolts to shorted out batteries. But it works for him and his 45 residential accounts!

Listen to his plans for winter as he just purchased a Toro 821 R-C. He goes over his pricing for snow removal and possibly offering a zero-tolerance for those customers who want it. I would feel weird going out in the middle of the night and having my customers and their neighbors her the loud engine my Toro 821 R-C.

Listen to industry newcomers and seasoned lawn care owners as we discuss the lawn care industry, business aspects and pricing information with Lawn Care Accelerator!

In this first episode filmed July 28, 2022, in Centennial, CO we will hear from Quinton Hudson from Lawn Care Ninja. He has over 18 years' experience in the industry and 3 years as an owner. Listen as he shares some ideas and thoughts and how he has increased his 2022 revenue by 21% over the previous year.

Next, we hear from Erik Zamora with Grass Monkey Lawn Service (who drove over an hour to meet with us!). Going on 3 years of being in business, he is eager to learn and expand his skills and provide more services to his customers and make more money! He has some great things to say about quality over quantity. You know someone is serious about learning when they are taking notes.

Also, Eamon Giboo from Giboo Lawn Services. He is in Castle Rock, and this is his first full year in business. Listen how he started with 13 weekly lawns to start 2022 and is now up to 48 weekly lawn customers! He left his corporate job last year and is a full-time lawn care business owner with massive growth in 2022!

We will also hear from Garrett Smith from Augusta Lawn Care-Glendale. Listen to him as he tells us how he almost gave up the Augusta franchise after ALL of his equipment got stolen and a very poor June revenue-wise. Not to be outdone by having a MASSIVE revenue haul in July after talking with Thomas Salazar (who he had never met in person prior to the incident) telling him to stick with it and sending potential employees his way. This is what vulnerability and building relationships is all about!

Finally, we hear from Thomas Salazar with Augusta Lawn Care of Littleton. When he heard Mike Andes was going to be doing franchises of Augusta Lawn Care, Thomas KNEW he had to follow Mike and be the very first franchise in the universe (his words)! Listen how he has gone from just over $100,000 in revenue his first year to well over $300,000 his 3rd year. He talks about his goals of getting to $1,000,000 in the next few years! That is an awesome goal and something all of us in this industry are capable of!
