Fortunately, the game ended in favor of Tomas Tatar and the Detroit Red Wings after he netted a goal after freezing Oilers goaltender, Viktor Fasth.

The Canadians eventually went on to win with a goal on the power play in overtime. The same fate came for the USA in men’s hockey, when Finland slaughtered the United States in a bronze medal game of epic proportions, but not in a good way. The USA could not find the scoreboard past Boston Bruins netminder and Finnish Olympian, Tukka Rask.
