Music therapy is a form of therapy that utilizes sound and auditory response to help the patient express and comprehend complex emotions. During our podcast sessions, one of us will be interviewing a random bystander from off the street. Discussions can range from just general background to how the person is currently feeling in their everyday life. While the session (about an hour) is being conducted, two other people will be creating their own songs based on the events or emotions that are being covered during the interview. Note: we are not trained professional therapists and results may vary from person to person. After the interview is complete, the two artists will come into the podcast room and see a live reaction from the interviewer and interviewee.
