Millian: Unmuted is a podcast for saying things out loud when staying quiet stopped making sense. Hosted by Millian: Gen X, introverted, and officially fed up. This show explores the everyday realities, headlines, ideas, and cultural moments that actually matter… or maybe they don’t. No agenda. No performance. Just thoughts, reactions, observations, and the occasional nerve being touched. There’s no script. No schedule. No algorithm chase. No one listens. No one cares. Yet, still doing it anyway!

I am a real human, feeling stuck in a world that is growing more fake by the day. When you think about it, our food, our medicine, our news, social media, entertainment and general life are all fake, and slowly being usurped by A.I. I share with you things I notice about how everything is counterfeiting humans and the human experience. So I ask simply....do you really like the fake ones?

Coming up on age 50, and I am really lost and confused by the world I see around me. Do we long for an earlier time, when it turns out that we were probably lied to about it anyway? Do we look forward to a new time, when things don't look much better? Do we just run off and eat cheeseburgers and not care? I am lamenting today about what I see as I approach age 50, yet not quite at the half way mark yet. I am pulling you down with me, to the depths of this ocean, and we will talk about it

The truth is, it isn’t supposed to be this way.

Across the world, people are waking up and refusing to stay silent. The last six years have tested all of us, and now it’s time to push back. Change won’t come from waiting. It comes from standing up and taking it back.

So where do we go from here? That’s up to us.
