Quinn Hughes is one of the smartest players in the NHL and the Wild were the better team in their series with Dallas.

The guys are worried about the corrosive effect of gambling on sports. Jim thinks the Wolves will play better at home on Thursday with a little practice time between games.

Timberwolves loss in Denver was easy to see coming. Jaden McDaniels doesn't care about being the villain, but his words and actions have painted a target on his back. It's much more difficult to win without your starting backcourt and star player when the Nuggets can prepare. Two evenly matched teams in Wild vs Stars, wouldn't be surprised by another overtime game. Derek Falvey didn't leave the cupboard bare in the pitching department.
