Isabella Robusto is one of the top female racing prospects in the USA in 2022, having won twice at Hickory Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series Late Model division. She is a part of the Toyota Racing Development group and she works very hard at her craft. She joins the show along with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racer Spencer Boyd, who came up through the same ranks as Robusto and has been responsible for bringing numerous new sponsors into the sport over the years.  Oh, and he also has one win at Talladega, which is coming up very soon again.

For 17-year-old Hunter Yeany, achieving his goal of being the youngest American driver to compete in Formula One is at the forefront of everything he does.  The Virginia native has made the move to Spain to compete in the FIFA F3 Series against some of the world's top F1 future prospects and he's done that with a focus and determination that are truly remarkable.  "Ambition Is Forever" is so ingrained in this young man that he's turned it into a merch line. Finding peace on the water when he's not at full speed in the race car, Hunter is determined to do what it takes to succeed in one of motorsports' most competitive environments.  He's with us for the entire show, and we hope you enjoy hearing from him.

GUEST: Multi-surface rising racing star Gavan Boeschele

For being just 13 years of age, Gavan Boeschele is a very busy young racer. He is running over 100 race events in 2022. The versatile young racer competes on the dirt at Millbridge Speedway just outside Mooresville, N.C., but also travels nationwide running micro sprints and midgets. Gavan is competing against the best in the country in both divisions with increasing success.  He has also already made his first start on pavement in a super late model and is getting ready to make some pro late model starts as well.  He joins us for the second time in the WSIC Studio on this week's Lead Lap Show.

Two of the top rising stock car racers in the Southeast US joined us in the WSIC Studio for Lead Lap this week.  Carson Kvapil, 18, is the oldest son of NASCAR Cup Series racer Travis Kvapil. Carson has won over 100 races in his career, and has just been signed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and JR Motorsports to race their NASCAR late model stock car in 2022.  Leland Honeyman Jr. is a former national champion in INEX Bandolero cars and spent this year competing in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series, where he won the season-ending Dwight Copp Memorial 100 at Hickory Motor Speedway and finished second in the series point standings.

Ryan Millington engaged in one of the most thrilling side-by-side battles for a race win I've seen in years at Hickory Motor Speedway in Saturday afternoon's Calico Coatings Fall Brawl limited late model 100-lap race.  He and Charlie Watson never touched but ran alongside each other and swapped the lead back and forth for much of the race, even being joined by Michigan's Mason Ludvig in the closing third or so.  Ryan got the win, and he joined us in the WSIC Studio to talk about it!
