A philosopher by the name of Viktor Frankl, once said, "When a person can't find a deep sense of meaning, they distract themselves with pleasure." That statement resonates deeply in our current culture. With the decline of communal and family values, morals and a deep sense of community has been eradicated from our society. Beyond that, Carl Trueman, a religious theologian, once coined the phrase, "expressive individualism", which means an absurd, obsessive, and narcissistic approach to life, in which one comes to think that the world revolves around them. This is a problematic approach to life because no one exists by themselves nor exists for themselves. The Christian approach believes that life is best lived when we "Glorify God and enjoy Him forevermore." Finding life in Christ gives us our true purpose. In this episode, we unpack what it means to find your purpose and use three real-life people to help us along the way. We hope you enjoy it!

They also speak about how often trials reveal our hearts while showing us who and what we are. They discuss how God uses all of that for his glory and to conform us into the image of Christ. They finish by speaking about a book they have both been reading called "Gay Girl, Good God" by Jackie Hill Perry. They articulate their views and how they both digested and processed the book. They wrap it up with how all this pertains to the gospel and how they can share what they have learned with others.
Have you ever wondered what's happening with the youth in our culture? From violence to slander, porn to gaming, D.M.s to nude pics, there seems to be an endless cycle of destruction. Where can weary parents turn? How can we win back the youth? Is there any hope? In this episode of the L.I.F.E. Podcast, we turn to God's word for hope and truth. The truth about children may be more dark and grim than we thought, but we know God's word shines and breaks through the darkness. We will analyze what God has said about youth and how to raise them in the "discipline and instruction of the Lord." We hope you enjoy it!
Grief has a way of bringing clarity to our outlooks on life. Grief often causes us to ask ourselves questions that we never do in our normal day-to-day. It causes us to be more cognizant of what life is really about and how do we fit in it. Who you are grieving also plays a big role in our feelings and emotions. When grieving a loved one or friend, we often feel the emptiness and futility of life. But, here at L.I.F.E., we try to filter our emotions, thoughts, and desires, through God's word. He helps us deal with our mortal thoughts and gives us hope in the midst of such grief. We believe that God is faithful and comforts our hearts and walks through the pain with us. He quiets the sea of our emotions while taking us by the hand, in faith, and calms the storms. I hope you enjoy this episode and that it helps you through any tough times you are going through.

Lo-Fi Lounge Chill Hip Hop CITY by Alex-Productions | https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx0_M61F81Nfb-BRXE-SeVA
Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/
Creative Commons CC BY 3.0
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

With manhood in our society dwindling away, this podcast addresses the necessity of men getting in positions to fight and reclaim their God-given roles and positions. The struggle is real, but God is more than able to bring life back into the dry bones of life. In this podcast, we will address what a man is biblically, the difference between being a male vs. a man, and the need for discipleship in our culture. It is with the deepest prayers that this may bless you and that you may share this wisdom with other men. We need men to step back into to position and align themselves with the word of God so that families, churches, and communities can be restored and live out how God always attended them to be. </itunes:summary>
