Second to a Lukewarm relationship, one that is of hype and emotion is just as misleading . Truth bomb: your heart is deceiving you . Bear with me on this one. I know this because I was that girl, remember? I truly think this is the most important thing to be conscious of when exploring a relationship. I pray that these lessons ring in your ear as you debate what "true love" really feels like . I'm telling you that you can have it all. You will never ever miss out on the bliss and intensity of love when we follow God's word as opposed to the surface level deceptions that this world has us hypnotized by. How do we know if someone is worth dating? if a relationship is worth staying in? What if we have chemistry? Most of the time, it's good and they have a lot of great qualities, ETC. But are they actually a Christian and worth waiting for? I'll help you to make this decision so simple. This is the most common and easily blinding questions that keeps us from Immeasurably More. There's no higher favored relationship the enemy loves for you to be in than one that is lukewarm. Or what I like to refer to as "The Comfort Zone of Dating". Stop accepting mediocrity in one of the most important relationships of your life!! We have to acknowledge the denial we may be living in and accept God is better equipped in choosing our spouse than we are. There is so much potential hurt we are able to prevent if we are willing to listen. Let's talk about understanding what this looks like and how to have the courage to break away.

Truth is, I've made a lot of mistakes in my past which has made it so clear to now identify what peace feels like in a relationship. The kind of peace I've always heard of as well as CLEAR-- BLACK AND WHITE-- characteristics of a relationship that I have no doubt are what God truly intended for love and ultimately, marriage. I want to cover all things like why I have to prioritize healthy choices, the effects it has on my mental health, why I feel is important to honor God with these decisions and more so how we can glorify Him through them! I’ve learned there is such a fine line between obsession and honoring our body and I really want to bring light to that. I personally have struggled so much with self image and performance over the years which is why I wanted to share how I worked through finding that balance in a healthy lifestyle. Embrace the Suck? Find joy in trials...huh??? Trust me, it didn’t make didn’t sense to me either at first. But in this episode, I bring light to how God is truly at work most within us while we endure hardships. We don’t expect the hard seasons of life, but God is fully aware and working all things for our good. I hope you see a new perspective for growth while learning to allow yourself some grace. It’s all significant. It’s not happening to us, it’s happening for us. Let’s do what we focus on most, flipping the script and let’s embrace the suck.
