Christmas is easy to celebrate and still miss the point. In this Advent message from Katie, we slow down and look at one of the most surprising titles given to Jesus: Everlasting Father. Long before trees, lights, and traditions, Isaiah promised a child who would carry the very heart of the Father into our world. Whether your experience with “father” is joyful, complicated, or painful, this message reminds us that Jesus is the Father our hearts were made for: steady, present, protective, unchanging, and eternally near. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals the God who always was and always will be, the God who stepped into time so we could step into His family forever.

This sermon explores why the everlasting nature of Jesus changes how we pray, how we see our lives, how we understand our identity, and how we worship. The same God who holds all eternity in His hands chose to enter a tiny moment in human history, to forgive, restore, dwell with us, and bring us into His family for good. Christmas is more than a season. It is the Everlasting Father drawing near so that you can belong to Him forever.

Gen Z is overwhelmed by noise, advice, and pressure from every direction. With so many voices competing for attention, how do you know who to trust? In this message, we looks at Isaiah’s promise that Jesus would be called “Wonderful Counselor”, the one voice wise enough to cut through the chaos. Nathan shows how our lives get crowded by social media, insecurities, and opinions, and why the “chair” of influence in our lives can only hold one thing at a time. As we enter Advent, this sermon unpacks what it looks like to let Jesus lead you in real, practical ways: slowing down to hear Him, speaking honestly about what’s really going on, and taking the next faithful step He puts in front of you. If you’ve been feeling confused or stretched thin, this sermon will point you to the only Counselor strong enough and good enough to guide your life.

In this final session of Renew, we look at what happens when an unrivaled heart begins to shine. After a weekend of naming our idols, laying down our sin, and rediscovering God’s unmatched love, this message calls us to step back into real life as lights who point others to Jesus. Using Jesus’ words in Matthew 5, a story from the Welsh Revival, and the image of a lighthouse that saved eighty fishermen, we explore what it means to live boldly, distinctly, and openly for Christ, not for attention, but for His glory. When Jesus becomes unrivaled in us, His light shines through us into our homes, our schools, and our world. This sermon invites listeners to stop chasing fading lights, anchor their lives in the Light that never fails, and courageously carry the hope of Jesus into everyday moments.

In session 3 of Renew, we uncover what it really means to return to God with an honest, surrendered heart. Through the story of a young boy who disobeys and finds himself hurting in a muddy sandbox, we get a moving picture of a Father who would rather embrace a messy child than watch a distant one. Walking through the book of Amos, we see that sin always carries a cost, that spiritual laziness can quietly dull our hearts, and yet—astonishingly—God responds with grace. Repentance isn’t about promising to “do better.” It’s about confessing our sin, turning back, and letting God do what only He can: heal, restore, and lead us into freedom. If you’ve ever wondered how to actually repent, how to confront spiritual apathy, or how God meets us in our weakness, this message gives a practical, hope-filled path toward real change. God can handle your mess—what He wants is your heart.

In Session 2 of Renew, we explore what happens when idols lose their grip and Jesus takes His rightful place at the center of our hearts. This message unpacks what it means to truly delight in God, not as a duty, but as a deep joy. Through Scripture, personal stories, and the picture of God as our loving “Abba,” we learn that life with Him isn’t a checklist…it’s an adventure. When we understand that the Father delights in us first, everything changes. Joy becomes natural. Trust becomes possible. And delight becomes the doorway to a life of intimacy, purpose, and childlike wonder. If you’ve ever felt like following God is about performance or pressure, this message invites you to slow down, rest, and rediscover the God who loves being with you. Life with God is an adventure, and it begins the moment we delight in Him.

In this message from night 1 of our Renew middle school retreat, we explore what it really means for God to have no equal in our lives. We discover the danger of building our identity on anything other than Jesus. From Ezekiel 14 to Jesus’ words in Matthew 7, this sermon exposes the quiet idols that compete for our hearts and invites us to build our lives on the only foundation that never fails. If you’ve ever felt pulled in a thousand directions or found yourself chasing things that don’t last, this is a call to return to the One who can actually hold the weight of your heart. Anything you make your everything will eventually fail you, except Jesus.

Through Israel’s rebellion and God’s relentless pursuit, we see that even in our failure, His invitation remains the same: return, repent, and believe His love for you. God’s heart toward His people has never changed — He still calls you His child and wants you to live like one.

In this message kicking off the "All In" series, Nathan unpacks what Jesus meant when He said to “love the Lord your God with all your heart.” Before our minds can understand or our strength can act, our hearts decide what and whom we love. But when our hearts are divided, half chasing God and half chasing approval, control, or comfort, life gets confusing. Nathan shows how a united, “all-in” heart brings peace, not perfection, and how surrendering every area of life (work, relationships, free time) transforms ordinary moments into worship.

A divided heart brings confusion, but an all-in heart brings peace.

The Lord has two controversies with the people of Israel: (1) There is no faithfulness or steadfast love in the land; (2) No knowledge of God in the land. Garrett walks us through the specifics of these controversies and then paints the path to remedy the situation. Ultimately drawing our hearts towards the reality that God desires a relationship with us.
This message was given to set students up for Small Group discussion over chapters 4 & 5 of Hosea.

Scripture mentions the tongue, lips, mouth, and words hundreds of times, reminding us that what we say shapes hearts and builds (or tears down) God’s Kingdom. In this message, we look at Ephesians 4:29 and Hebrews 3:13 to ask: How can my words help grow God’s Kingdom impact? Using the picture of a garden, we explore three practices: weeding early and often, guarding the soil of our hearts, and planting densely with life-giving words. When believers speak encouragement and truth in community, our words can overwhelm darkness with light and bring lasting Kingdom growth.

Betrayal is one of the most powerful and painful themes in our culture—woven into our movies, music, memes, and even our own lives. In Hosea 2:2–23, God uses the shocking image of marital unfaithfulness to show how deeply sin strikes at His heart. Yet, even in our betrayal, God’s response is not rejection but relentless grace: He allures, restores, and calls us His own. In this message, discover how the grace of God forgives the sin and shame we work the hardest to hide—and how His love is stronger than our unfaithfulness.

Our words have power. They can build trust, encourage a friend, point someone toward Jesus - or they can tear down, wound, and spread rot. Paul writes in Ephesians 4:29 that we’re not to let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up. This message asks a simple but searching question: Are your words building or wrecking? Because here’s the truth: if Jesus has changed your heart, it should change your mouth. Will you be a careful builder with your words, or a careless wrecker?

In Colossians 3:9–10, Paul contrasts the old self and the new self, showing how lying belongs to the old way of life while truth telling reflects our new identity in Christ. Katie unpacks why we lie - protecting reputation, avoiding consequences, gaining approval - and how those lies always weigh us down and damage community. In Jesus, we’re already loved, forgiven, and made new, which frees us to live authentically and walk in the truth.

The subject of God’s faithfulness to Israel and His ongoing love for her affects every believer in Jesus – Jewish or Gentile. The question of Romans 11: Is God faithful and trustworthy or not?

Either God is faithful to keep all His covenants, or He can’t be trusted to keep any of them. If God has ceased to love Israel and has broken His covenant with the people He chose for His own, how can we trust His love for those who believe in Jesus the Messiah? Why this matters to me today: If God changed His mind regarding Israel, how can we trust that He won’t change His mind regarding believers today?
