Because you don't have peace.Jesus Christ and reading the Word of God will give you peace and it'll fill that void that you don't know sometimes you don't even know that's there. You know, I throughout my life I've struggled with eating and eating things, you know, and I would just eat to fill the void. I would just eat and eat and eat. And you ever get to you ever do you ever do that where you go out to eat?God is our nutrients. So if you're out there feasting on everything of this world and all the all the cakes and the candies and the cheeseburgers and the french fries and you know the tacos and all that stuff and you're not eating any vegetables, you're not getting your nutrients, you know, God is your nutrients. We're on day 29 of the Patriot Push-Up Challenge. We got two more days left of this after today, of course. Two more days. Man, it's it's it's been quite a journey, actually. it's a little cloudy here, it's a little humid. Might rain a little bit. we'll see. but let's get these push-ups knocked out because I'm just ready to get this.Get this going, all right? I'm not sure, but if you didn't, you at least heard me. So so that was day 29 of the Patriot Push Up Challenge. If you're new here, we're doing the Patriot Push-Up Challenge to honor America 250 right here, and we're doing it to to honor our Patriots and our veterans whohelp keep this country safe and free and you know just to stay in shape. You know it's good to stay in shape. today I had a little issue. I had to go to the doctor. I thought it might be something serious, but now I think it may not be. I'm having some more tests tomorrow, so so pray for me if you will. ButGoing to the doctor and having this issue kind of made me start thinking about, you know, you know, am I am I ready? Am I right with God? Am I right with Christ? Am I ready, you know, for the next thing that's gonna happen? You know, am I ready for the next afterlife? You know. And I thought really hard about it, especially last night when I wasn't sure what was going on. And, you know, I don't know.I don't know. I mean I'm doing all the right things, you know. I feel like I'm doing all the right things, and I feel like, you know, I'll go to heaven if something happened. But am I ready to go? That's the thing. Am I ready? Do I have things left to do? And I thought to myself, yes I do. I have a lot left to do, you know. I'm not ready to go anywhere yet. I've got more videos to make for you, more Bibles to read, more kids to raise.you know, I've got tons of stuff going on around the farm. Trying to get consistent with going to the gym, trying to get consistent with eating properly. you know, at this age or at any age really, we've really got to watch what we're eating, what we're putting in our body. Our body is our temple, right?So we gotta be careful what we're putting in our body as we're made in the image of God. And we need to take care of this image, okay? And we need to make sure we look good, we feel good. and you know you just want to stay healthy, you want to live long for your family, for your grandkids, for your kids, and all that stuff. The longer you live, the more people you can bring to Jesus. Am I right? I'm right. So so that's what we're trying to do. I'm getting stronger. I'm gonna go check my bench press today, see how I do.</p>]]>

We did a lot of mowing yesterday.We got some to do today, got to cut some trees down, all that stuff. you know, I realized today, I don't know about you, but I had a lot of plans this summer, you know. I had a lot of things on my plate this summer to do. And it's already almost August. And I'm not done with even half of them. So the summer kindaI I think because of all the rain the summer kinda got away from me. We had so much rain that my my schedule of stuff that I need to do outside the projects that I had planned and all that it kinda got thrown in the back burner. And so now I'm coming up on school starting in August where my schedule's gonna have to change d dramatically to take my kids to school, or one of them anyway.And so my project list is gonna have to change because with the break in the day, taking the kids to school, picking them up, and then going to martial arts and different activities and stuff like that, my project list is gonna have to change, get smaller. So I didn't get what I wanted done this summer. I had big plans this summer. This summer was gonna be the summer of me. And doing all this stuff, getting all this stuff done that I wanted to get done.But I spent most of the time watching it rain, then mowing, watching it rain, then mowing again. so I'm kind of disappointed. But I guess I could look back and say, what did I accomplish? You know, what what did I get accomplished? What what projects did I get done? I started a new project with this channel, so this this channel kind of took a lot a lot of my time, at least early on.I was trying to figure out how to do it and I'm still I'm still learning. But this channel is important to me because if I could just reach one person, one of you guys, and give you some good advice or or bring somebody to Jesus, or you know, just tell my story where somebody can relate and know that you're not going through something alone, then then I'll be happy. And doing all this stuff, getting all this stuff done that I wanted to get done.But I spent most of the time watching it rain, then mowing, watching it rain, then mowing again. so I'm kind of disappointed. But I guess I could look back and say, what did I accomplish? You know, what what did I get accomplished? What what projects did I get done? I started a new project with this channel, so this this channel kind of took a lot a lot of my time, at least early on.I was trying to figure out how to do it and I'm still I'm still learning. But this channel is important to me because if I could just reach one person, one of you guys, and give you some good advice or or bring somebody to Jesus, or you know, just tell my story where somebody can relate and know that you're not going through something alone, then then I'll be happy. That's just just one person.There's just one person out there, I'll be happy. So it's worth it. You know, it's worth it to me. It's giving me new life and all that. But on the other side, I still have projects to do, I still have life to live. you know, I don't make any money doing this channel, so I've got I've got to earn my keep around here. We all have somebody that's done us wrong.You know, it's says somewhere in the Bible not to harbor that that unforgiveness. Because if we harbor unforgiveness, what's it say about us? The Lord forgives us for all our sins, but we can't forgive our brothers and sisters. How's the Lord supposed to forgive us if we can't forgive anyone else? So think about that. If you're harboring unforgiveness towards someone,I know it's difficult, I know it's hard, but the Lord forgives us for the awful things we do. And if He can forgive us, we must forgive anyone else. And remember, revenge is the Lord's, it's not ours. So just keep that in mind. If you're going through a tough time, if you're dealing with something where someone has wronged you severely, or you had a horrible child upbringing.Doesn't mean you have to forget what happened. You know, it doesn't mean you have to be someone's best friend. But in your heart, you need to forgive them with the Lord, pray about it, and say, Lord, take this burden from me, take this hate from me, and because it can eat you up inside, it's not good for you. just let it go and be be at peace with it.Hand it to the Lord. Especially when I see people die. And I wonder I wonder, you know, like what was their what was their legacy in life.When you pass away, who's gonna miss you? Not just your family and your friends, but will the world miss you? What are you doing every day to make yourself valuable? Are you are you doing something to better the country, to better the world, to better your life, to better someone else's life?Are you active in your community? You know, are you do you do special things at work? Do you volunteer? When you're gone, are you gonna be missed? Is there gonna be a gap where you were? Or are people just gonna say, he was a good dude? That's what I'm thinking about. That's what I try to think about. I want to get up every day and make myself valuable.I wanna make myself valuable first of all to the Lord Jesus Christ as a spokesman and I walk in his feet and I show the light to anyone that'll look. That's number one. We've been having hundred degree days here in Arkansas. one thing I want to talk about, we've had an air conditioner that's consistently been leaking. our air conditioner people who installed it have been out here probably at least four times to fix the same unit. We have several different unit heads, you know. And you know todayIt was super hot. It started laking a couple days ago and it was super hot today. And they came out today and I and I was just I wanted to be angry so mad so bad. I wanted to when they got here, you know how you feel, like you're you're just ready to light into them. You're like, you know, this this is shouldn't be happening. I paid a lot of money for this. I know it's under warranty, but you guys need to figure this out, you know, and I wanted to jump on them.They said they were going to send the the A-team, you know, the bosses out, you know, to check it out to see what's going on. two guys arrived. They look like they were they were on their summer jobs from high school. Braces, I kid you not, braces. And I was like, they haven't even been out here before. They never even dealt with my units before. I was not happy.And but they were young guys, they were polite and nice guys. So that's 31 push-ups. For those of you that are new here, we're doing 31 push-ups for the 31 days in July to honor our patriots and our veterans and anybody else who had a hand in keeping this country great and free. rememberI got water right there that I'm not gonna drink right now. But remember, if you're out in the heat, especially if you're our age, over 50, you gotta be careful with the heat, guys. Take breaks, drink electrolytes, drink a lot of water. make sure you're you got food in you. but take breaks. I came out here.I've been inside for a while. I come out here and gonna do these push-ups. Then I'm gonna go right back inside until it closed off a little bit. Got the dogs inside. If you got animals like I got, especially animals with like thick fur like German Shepherd's and Great Pyrenees, bring them inside. Cuz however hot you are, they're twice as hot.They've been outside just for a few minutes here with me, but they've been inside all day. It's hot. I mean it's hot. So not a big message for you today. Just watch out for the heat. Stay hydrated. Keep doing this fitness challenge. Keep doing your push-ups every day. I feel my body changing. I feel everything changing, my strength, all that. And watch out when you're if you're out in a like I am.Watch out for snakes. We killed a big snake yesterday. That was pretty big. So watch out for animals. The other underneath stuff trying to stay cool. Snakes and whatnot. But that's all I got for you today. I just wanted to come out here and get my push-ups out of the way. That's 31 push-ups. That's just another day in the life, right? we went to church today, we had a good time. one thing the pastor talked about was wanting to do more.Do you believe that you're called to do more in this world? I've been thinking about that a lot before this this service today, which is a part of the reason I started this channel. And I think we're all called to do more than we actually think we are. we don't think we're worthy, you know, we don't think we're good enough for God.For God to choose us to to do something great, you know, for the for the kingdom or even for ourselves or for our family or for somebody else. You know, God used throughout the Bible, he used misfits, he used people that were broken, he used people that were flawed, he used sinners, he didn't use, he didn't go find the perfect people and use them.And that's one thing I really had to get over in my life is I never felt good enough really to be a tool or an instrument for God. I never really felt good enough or smart enough or or you know righteous enough to give God's message out to you know I was like who am I who am I to tell you about Jesus? Who am I to tell you to find Jesus?when i struggle every day with with things with with worldly things right but paul and many others in the bible talk about you know struggling themselves with worldly things and you know it's I think it was Isaiah six Isaiah 6:8 that talks about send me you know God says who will go for us. Isiah says. I will Lord, Send Me. </p>]]>

So like I said, thirty one push ups today. Day nineteen. Let's get it going. All right.Mm.One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-one,Woo Yeah buddy can't see you there you go Yeah so it's really hot today I don't know if you can tell but it's really hot and I got some new gloves kind of wore the other ones that are out had gas on them stuff so we also had a this is life on the farm okay we had a snake get in the guinea pinAnd it was a big snake. Have to take care of that. And now we've got a guinea loose on the porch. The dogs are all going crazy over it. Little bitty baby guinea. So gotta find that one. That's just another day in the life, right? we went to church today, we had a good time. one thing the pastor talked about was wanting to do more.Do you believe that you're called to do more in this world? I've been thinking about that a lot before this this service today, which is a part of the reason I started this channel. And I think we're all called to do more than we actually think we are. we don't think we're worthy, you know, we don't think we're good enough for God.For God to choose us to to do something great, you know, for the for the kingdom or even for ourselves or for our family or for somebody else. You know, God used throughout the Bible, he used misfits, he used people that were broken, he used people that were flawed, he used sinners, he didn't use, he didn't go find the perfect people and use them.And that's one thing I really had to get over in my life is I never felt good enough really to be a tool or an instrument for God. I never really felt good enough or smart enough or or you know righteous enough to give God's message out to you know I was like who am I who am I to tell you about Jesus? Who am I to tell you to find Jesus?when i struggle every day with with things with with worldly things right but paul and many others in the bible talk about you know struggling themselves with worldly things and you know it's I think it was Isaiah six Isaiah 6:8 that talks about send me you know God says who will go for us. You could be anywhere else, but you're here doing push-ups to honor patriots and our forefathers and our veterans.People to keep this country safe in honor of America 250. That's what we're doing in the rain and everything. In the rain. The Lord's made it rain. Now I'm gonna have to mow again. I just got finished mowing everything. Now I'm gonna have to mow again. Mow again and again. it rains a lot in Arkansas, guys. I know you don't think it does, but it does. If you're over 50 and you think you can't get in shape,If you haven't been working out before this, before this year, I hadn't worked out a lick in seven years. I retired eight years ago. And now I'm working out almost every day. I'm lifting weights, getting stronger. I feel so much better than I used to feel. I used to get up and my legs would be so heavy and I couldn't walk from the parking lot into the store.I was really obese. I weighed about 50, you know, I gained 50 pounds after I retired. I still need to lose about 20 or 30 more. But I'm getting there. Just doing 1% a day. That's all I'm trying to do. It's coming down really hard. I don't know if you can see it's coming down hard. That's what we're doing in the rain and everything. In the rain. The Lord's made it rain. Now I'm gonna have to mow again. I just got finished mowing everything. Now I'm gonna have to mow again. Mow again and again. it rains a lot in Arkansas, guys. I know you don't think it does, but it does. Rains a lot in Arkansas, especially in the mountains up here in the Ozark Mountains.So let's get these push-ups done, alright? 31 push-ups. I'm gonna try to do them all at once. We'll see. Kind of outgrew it a little bit, but yeah, it happens when you're over 50, right guys? When you get over 50 and you get old, you outgrow stuff. But I made a point to wear this because I'm gonna get back in it. I'm gonna get back in it and you're gonna help me. We're gonna do this together. If you're over 50 and you think you can't get in shape,If you haven't been working out before this, before this year, I hadn't worked out a lick in seven years. I retired eight years ago. And now I'm working out almost every day. I'm lifting weights, getting stronger. I feel so much better than I used to feel. I used to get up and my legs would be so heavy and I couldn't walk from the parking lot into the store.I was really obese. I weighed about 50, you know, I gained 50 pounds after I retired.
