Three things God placed on my heart after leaving:

1️⃣ Keep Christ at the center, not crowds, not platforms, not pastors. “Little children, keep yourselves from idols.” — 1 John 5:21

2️⃣ Plan with compassion accessibility matters. Let’s make room for everyone, not just in seats but in hearts. 💛

3️⃣ Grace over criticism, this was a first for so many. When 20,000 people arrive to fill a 16,000-seat arena, mistakes will happen, but so will miracles.

Sometimes revival looks messy before it looks miraculous. 🙌🏽 

May we never forget that the focus of worship is never the stage… it’s Jesus. 💫

We should pay close attention to what’s being taught as we also vet communities to be apart of. Seek clarity from God on if it aligns with what is actually written in the Bible or not. As well as if it aligns with the seasons and lessons in which the Lord is calling you to accept. 

Spiritual warefare is hard enough once giving your life to Christ that you can’t afford to be in rooms where the teaching is about “you” and not about understanding how you can learn the heart of God through reading his word. At least let’s be honorable and keep the Lord at the center of what we are teaching and discussing.

All too often we want God to bless us with something, but we’re not willing to sacrifice something. We’re not willing to be tested. We’re not willing to take direction and be obedient to the guidance that shows up. 

Let this testimony speak to your heart around how you make money, how you spend money, and how you tithe the money. If the money you’re making is only benefiting you you’re doing it wrong that’s why you keep having to strategize on how to make more. 

Are you a master of money or is your master?  

The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep.

ECCLESIASTES 5:12

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

How Are We Making Disciples of ALL NATIONS when our hearts are NOTHING LIKE CHRIST!? Make it make sense! We have to learn to be a bit more gentle with our brothers and sisters or potential ones if we intend to win over their hearts to Christ. We love to rebuke and call folks out but we never want to gouge out or own eye for the sake of righteousness. 

Life is messy, relationships are messy, friendship is messy. But God makes Everything for his good!

Yall know I typically have some type of story time on Sundays and baby! I didn’t docu-vlog like I wanted to because once I stepped in that building It felt so sacred I just wanted to stay present in the experience. True Story… like didn’t take any pictures or anything. But just listen man! Let’s call it a church home.

STRAIGHT CLARITY!

One thing I’ve learned to appreciate about myself is I like clarity in every area of my life. Teach me the truth and give me context to understand it, no gimmicks, no comedy show, straightforward teaching. I have such great love for the truth, it needs no proof, either it is or it isn’t.

The Holy Spirit will place you right where you need to be to create purpose within you, to define his love for you, to communicate his grace and mercy to you. Our father is so good to us he knows exactly the rooms and people you need to be surrounded with on the specific day that you need to be in order to hear his voice. 

This is a testimony that Carolyn is sharing to remind you that when the Lord calls your name, you will know. When the Lord calls your name you won’t be able to ignore it. In fact the more you run and ignore his call on your life the stronger the pull gets, the more you feel like you’re going crazy, or losing your grip of everything. 

You are worthy and he can use EVERYTHING FOR HIS GOOD! 

Matthew 18:12-13
12"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.

We often think because we hold talent in a specific area it automatically because our purpose. When in actually our purpose is defined in God and how we can make more disciples and believers of all nations. 

How is your talent tied to helping others understand the heart of God? Talent is not purpose. We make it purposeful in how God leads us to use it for his kingdom. 

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.

Proverbs 19:21

We hope that this testimony will encourage you to deepen your relationship with Christ and fully depend on him. Fasting was by far one of the hardest commitments Carolyn has ever experienced. True breakthrough happens on the other side of starving the flesh of things you desire.

John 8:47
Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.

Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Carolyn was exploring her experiences of fasting and how relative the act of fasting is to  the act of marriage and commitment to God! There is a different level of committed required for either. Fasting can you give a clear practice to what it feels like denying your flesh often in relationships. When you respect someone you move a whole lot differently than you do when you don’t care to earn someone else’s respect. 

Carolyn has always appreciated and honored “relationship” in content as a general topic. On this journey she learning that If she desires any level of depth in the area of relationship she will be called to honor the relationship that matters most in her physical life. The one with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

This fast has shown Carolyn how fasting can really teach you about your character, your patience, your relationship with God, and his grace and love for us! 

The Lord loves us so much that everyday we fall short as believers he welcomes us as our living father with forgiveness. He continues to convict our hearts which is disciplining us to condition a heart of repentance and attempt to change our behavior. 

We will never be perfect here on earth. This walk requires long suffering by putting up a fight against your flesh everyday. Surrendering your will for God to do his will is one of the most profound experiences. 

We hope this will encourage you this week on your journey. Continue to depend on the Lord! 

Romans 3:23-24 NIV

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

We have to realize how cutting things away from our fleshly desires helps us depend FULLY on the Lord. You can’t bring anything to the Lord that doesn’t cost you something. 

Jesus sacrificed his life to redeem us from our fallen nature. In your weakness you have to acknowledge that you are weak and can’t do it by yourself. 

The Lord’s strength that will equip you to overcome your addictions. You then rely on his strength not your own. 

What are you willing to give over to God as you fight through your desires, hidden addictions, and habits that lead you to sin? Break the bondage today by giving your life to Christ. 

Carolyn is hoping that through her testimony you have the strength to give your weaknesses to a God that loves you. The one true God that made himself flesh so that he may extend grace to us from the suffering we experience in this fleshly body.

23 Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Fasting is one of those things that truly reveals to you your level of perseverance and tests your obedience to your commitments. 

1 Corinthians 10:13
No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength.

But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.

It’s extremely important to always reference your Bible when you are receiving revelation from outside the word of God!  

This is something that is very common with how people fall into obsession of listening to Kingdom Spouse prophetic words which is very similar to new age tarot messages. 

Just a small reminder this week to not make an idol of any preacher, teacher, or spiritual leader. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS reference your Bible. It’s the best way to test the spirit by the spirit!

However, a reminder is needed that these people that you admire are still FLESHLY, IMPERFECT BEINGS, AS WELL. 

If at any point, you find that you are investing more of your time into listening to biblical teachers rather than actually reading your Bible for yourself, it may be time to put a bookmark on how much time you spend listening to biblical teachers and ask God to lead you to learn his word for yourself. The last thing you want to do is be always learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of truth on your own. 

2Timothy 3:7 

“always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

Breaking the covenant with sexual sin and giving yourself time to address the voids that led you into sexual sin are key points for healing. 

This is a small moment of awareness that we can all reflect on if we are led by our fleshly desires.

I know I’m not the only woman that’s experienced this. You can literally feel when someone is disconnected to connect with you. 

The more you learn your own body and sensual desires the more you can understand others while they’re connecting to you. 

Sexual sin is one of the strongest gateways for the enemy to plan attacks on your spirit. You ever been full of love, nurturing, emotionally intelligent and available, then you sleep with someone and start feeling drained or unhappy? 

Maybe you’ve exposed yourself to someone sexually and you find in those relationships that lacked a strong foundation that you get bored easily with them and seemingly no longer want to experience the act with them anymore. 

It’s because God created sex for marriage. 
Fornication is a sin because it is inconsistent with the nature of sex, the nature of marriage, and the nature of the family. Marriage is a covenant bond between a man and woman 
Malachi 2:14 

a covenantal bond sealed by the one flesh union of sexual intimacy. 
Genesis 2:24

All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” 
1 Corinthians 6:18.

I’m just a voice of reason and I’m guilty of it as well. But once you know, you can’t un-know.

Most of the time we don’t trust in Gods plan for our lives because we have been taught by spiritual teachers that God hates us of judge us for falling short. This is far from the truth. 

Be encouraged my dear friends that the Lord honors when we create space to speak directly to him about what we are experiencing. What better way to create relationship with God or anyone than open hearted communication. 

JOB 22:
27 You will pray to him and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him. 
28Whatever you decide on a matter, it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.

What Carolyn is learning that moments of stillness are also apart of your spiritual journey in developing your closeness with the Lord. Busyness doesn’t always mean you’ve been most productive.

There is a great deal of frustration that comes with a new found love for Christ because you’ll start to feel convictions that contradict who you use to be and who you’re becoming. This is more of a visual enjoyment. Check out the YouTube version of this episode. Enjoy. 

Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety".

Mark 2:27 says, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath".

Trusting God is required to get to where exactly he has led you. Learning to remove your arrogant nature is one of the toughest lessons. 

As she shares this journey with you all she is learning to trust God fully, be aware in your own life where you can trust God more. The things you want the most you should ask God if those are the things he wants for you.

When God answers this one prayer about a career opportunity and Carolyn actually gains this opportunity, the Lord then tells her “no, turn away from your fleshly desires of money, turn away from your self righteousness”. 

We all have desired things of this world. Be it money, material things, etc. While sharing this experience with the world Carolyn is growing her relationship with Christ. We ask that you show her some grace as she is imperfect and sharing her imperfections with the world with hopes that you will be inspired to trust our Lord and Savior along your own journey. 

Idolatry isn’t talked about enough in the journey of following Christ. All of your worldly ways don’t just “fall away” or disappear because you decided to give your life to Christ. The process is much like peeling an onion and giving yourself grace as you get closer to the core. Allow the tears to fall, pick yourself back up, and continue to lean on God as your resource of strength. We hope this could offer you some peace in your journey. In this episode Carolyn shares how she has walked a long distance journey to accomplish a goal she sought after in May 3, 2024. Please bare with her and grant grace as Carolyn is sharing her journey as she is growing with Christ. There are a few words that are not Christ-like being used. No pity needed, only changed behavior, meet me there. She’s taken many losses to get here in her career where she had the opportunity to accept a promotion in a male dominated world as a manager in the Hospitality industry. 

Hospitality has always been a God given gift of hers so making it to the big leagues was just what she wanted to accomplish. BUT GOD…

God held Carolyn’s hand and walked her seamlessly through this process to get what she prayed for and then he convicted her heart to turn away from the offer and choose an option that came with a pay cut. 

Has God ever led you right to what you prayed for and then changed the course of your path right when you get to that breakthrough? 

Prayer is needed for clarity around if what you want is what God wants for you. Does what you want compromise your values with God? Is money more important to you than following what the Lord has told you you should do? Do you trust yourself more than you trust the Lord? 

Remember God always knows best. If he tells you to do something, be obedient, and trust that he is sovereign enough to make the best decisions for you.

In this episode Carolyn is expressing the dynamics of being on a journey where God cleared the way for elevation within her career in hospitality. While God had opened many doors for her to be obedient and overcome any obstacles put before her he also grants Carolyn another counter-offer. 

This is an episode where Carolyn is realizing she is stuck on which one to choose because she doesn’t want to choose. Carolyn stepped away and allowed space for God to show her which path is best for her and her family. 

The ultimate message behind this episode is that God is our refuge he is our trust fund. But how does one receive the trust fund of eternity if they don’t trust the one holding the power of eternity? 

Psalm 25:1-2 says, "In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me" (NIV).

Psalm 115:9 - O Israel, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield. Psalm 118:8-9 - It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

In this very short film episode, I was inspired with a message to “just start now start where you are and stop worrying about all of the puzzle pieces being perfected”. 

Everyday that I sit with God in silence, his voice is getting louder and louder. Like should I start now? What exactly would you like for me to do? Should I open myself to this person? Should I be friends with these people? Should I still post on social media? There are so many questions but the best place when you have a lot of questions is to get quiet and get centered with your Lord and savior. 

So this whole awakening that I communicate as God is qualifying the calling and calling the unqualified. Friends, we are being asked to devote our every being to the Lord. My gift back to God is taking these conversations to the next level. Worrying about the perfect timing and the perfect equipment will keep you stuck and rooted in being unproductive. 

God shifted me by merely feeling the nudge to stop waiting until you have all the signs, all the things, most of the time when God gives us an idea he wants us to start right where we are. You don’t have to see the whole staircase when you’re being led by God. We are now available via video on YouTube and audio via podcast anywhere you can listen to Podcasts. 

The Holy Spirit inspired me to START NOW! The doors are open. Start where you are with what you have and the Lord will continue to provide. Trust him and trust the processes he has assigned to you. Join me on this call! See you on the inside! 

2 Corinthians 3:5 reminds us, "It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God." If God called you, He will equip you. It may take time, and it may require a learning curve, but trust that the God of the universe is in your corner.
