So, she launched Bright Ideas, a network of tech-savvy moms who sold educational software, from her spare bedroom. Since then, she’s launched Beacon Street Girls, a book series and virtual junior high helping girls navigate adolescence, and reacHire, which works with companies to on-ramp women who left the workforce and ensure they thrive. She was born to empower.</p><p> </p><p>“I love this idea of being a rebel and dreammaker at the same time. We clearly know to make change sometimes you have to break some glass. But I think the word dreammaker resonates much more with me.         <![CDATA[<p>Christie Cleveland feels the inherent tension between being a rebel and being a product manager, in which a big part of the job is getting everyone aligned and "on the bus." But that tension doesn't stop her from challenging the status quo when she thinks things could be better.</p><p>"Early on in my career, I would compromise. I didn't want to rock the boat. But I would get so upset at not doing what I thought was right or not challenging things....I just got so sick of compromising."</p><p>She says Dreammakers need to get really comfortable with rejection.</p><p>Neha and Christie also discuss:</p><p>- Creating a safe space for diversity of opinion at work<br>- Choosing positivity<br>- Cultivating curiosity as the #1 way to NOT be boring<br>- Self compassion as the driver of success<br>- How success and joy intertwine</p><p> </p><p>The Dreammakers did this all over a glass of wine: <a href="https://www.champagne-billecart.fr/en/collection/brut-rose#:~:text=%22Pale%20yet%20intense%20pink%20in,finish.%5B...%5D">Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé</a></p><p>It's a light pink Champagne from a family winery that's been around since the 1800s. They're about time and quality over quantity or fast delivery. They spend time fermenting it more than a typical champagne house might and that gives it a lot of freshness.         <![CDATA[<p>Christie Cleveland feels the inherent tension between being a rebel and being a product manager, in which a big part of the job is getting everyone aligned and "on the bus." But that tension doesn't stop her from challenging the status quo when she thinks things could be better.</p><p>"Early on in my career, I would compromise. I didn't want to rock the boat.
