Dreaming Higher: A Higher Dream than Socialism. Start, Own, Invest, and Live for God.

This faith-based podcast helps young adults build a life that works—financially and spiritually—so they can pursue something bigger than money. The American Dream isn’t something to reject or resent. When you steward your resources and character well, it becomes a practical path that creates freedom. That freedom is meant for a Higher Dream: living to serve God.

Too often, poor financial decisions quietly limit what people can do for the Lord. This show exists to change that. Host Jay Cavaiani brings decades of real-world experience and a clear biblical framework. He spent 11 years as a real estate broker and land developer, creating his first subdivision at age 23 and developing many more afterward. Over nearly 30 years, he has bought and sold homes, land, commercial property, rentals, and vacation properties, and he has invested in the markets. He later entered ministry as his vocation and has served for 22 years, including 16 as lead pastor. Along the way, he also made costly mistakes—including significant stock-market losses in the late 1990s when he was young and overconfident. Those losses kept him on the sidelines for years. When he returned later with wiser principles, the results were very different. He now shares what he has learned so others can avoid the same pitfalls and build something lasting.

Jay also serves through Revering the Word, where he has taught through every chapter of the Bible. That work is part of his Higher Dream—helping people develop the life-giving habit of being in God’s Word daily. He does not earn much from it, but earlier investments give him the freedom to pursue it. The same principle applies to listeners: invest wisely not for wealth’s sake, but so you can use your freedom to serve God better.

America is harder to get ahead in than it once was, and that difficulty is pushing many toward socialism. Dreaming Higher offers a different path. It will inspire, teach, and challenge young adults to take ownership of their future, make the American system work for them, and aim at a Higher Dream.
