Soyinka gave us his account of when he survived a letter bomb which killed his boss and friend, Dele Giwa in October 1986. We reviewed his recently released book ‘Born into Journalism’, where Soyinka shares fascinating tales about his life, his rise from being a curb reporter to the pinnacle of journalism.
