You can love what you do and have a career that excites you. Jen Warrington, a Recruiter and Career Strategist since 2007 is here to help!

Jen often describes her path as the squiggly line from "then until now" and is excited to cheer you on as she helps you navigate yours. The Warrington Group was founded when she decided to fly solo and start her recruitment firm, after being packaged out through a global restructure at her corporate recruitment job. Jen did not let that throw a wrench in her dream of helping people find their purpose. She often says she flew by the seat of her pants, made a plan, changed the plan, scrapped the plan, and just kept working to find her way!

There is no denying that Jen Warrington is obsessed with recruitment and helping others find work they will love. She describes recruiting as her way to shine and has honoured her business as allowing her to take the twists and turns of life, as perspectives that helped her help companies find epic humans, and help epic humans find opportunities that light them up and push them to be better versions of themselves!

Jen has a way of inspiring people from one conversation, likely because she has the lived experience of going from hating her job, to liking her job, to building a company she loves from the ground up. In this podcast you can expect her to share her personal story, welcoming you into her life and taking you through her personal and corporate experience in recruitment. Every episode will be packed with deeply relatable topics, tactical advice, compelling conversations, and the tools and inspiration you need to create an amazing career.

Listen to Jen on Mondays, as she gives you tips and advice on how to never settle for a career. If you are someone who wants to make a change, find a job you love, and need someone to cheer you on as you go, tune in – your life is about to change.

If you've been on, what feels like a never ending job search, please tune in! Jen Warrington discusses the impact of rejection in careers, emphasizing that it's often a business decision unrelated to personal worth. She shares her personal experience of being laid off during a global restructuring in 2020, which initially made her question her skills. Jen advises using rejection as a learning opportunity, asking for feedback, and maintaining a positive outlook. She suggests creating a "kudos folder" to store positive feedback from colleagues and clients, which can boost confidence. Jen encourages us to take rejection as a chance to reassess career goals and values, and to seek support from mentors and resources available through her career community.

For more resources, check out the link below:

https://stan.store/jenwarrington

Ask Jen Anything: email hello@thewarringtongroup.ca for quick tips and career advice!
Learn more + find resources: https://www.thewarringtongroup.ca/
Connect with Jen on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jenwarrington/
