We also look ahead to the finish of the NBA season and championship favorites after a wild trade deadline. Listen closely, we had to bleep some of Scott's foul language.

• The Bengals talked a lot in the lead up to this game - including calling it Burrow-head stadium, and the Cincy mayor saying that Joe Burrow was Patrick Mahomes father.
• In the end, it probably did not help them, as the Chiefs got their revenge in a great game that ultimately came down to a field goal again.
• Intern P believes that the NFL is rigger...or at least that the officials were terrible in this game.
• Ultimately the Chiefs came away with a team win - impressive given the # of players for the Chiefs that got hurt during the game.
• The Chiefs has built a young roster around Mahomes that is here to stay (a scary proposition for the rest of the league)

We also discussed, albeit not for as long, the NFC championship game.

• The game was over about mid-way through the quarter when Brock Purdy went down with an injury.
• Was it a mistake that the 49ers didn't carry a 3rd quarterback?
• It feels like by the end of the season, the Niners are brutally beat up (especially their quarterbacks) every season.
• Kyle Shanahan continues his run of questionable big-game management.
• The Eagles look impressive, but it also feels hard to judge given they played a team literally without a player on their roster that could throw a pass.

We look ahead to the Super Bowl, discussing some early storylines:

• What is the biggest storyline?  The Andy Reid Bowl?  Patrick Mahomes Legacy game?  Chiefs Dynasty with a win?  The Kelce Brothers?  The first SuperBowl ever with two black quarterbacks starting?  
• So many to choose from.  Early line favors the Ealges, although are the chiefs being underestimated, again?

• While the Giants disappointed, the Bills and Josh Allen are clearly the biggest losers, as they were dominated at home by the Cincinnati Bengals.  Is Josh Allen destined to be this generations Phillip Rivers?
• Dak and the Cowboys, also big losers, although the BroStorm crew questions how high Dak's ceiling is, and whether or not we should expect elite play out of him.
• Of all the teams that lost, the Jaguars might be the team most likely to continue to ascend.

In addition to making picks for NFL Championship weekend, we also brokedown the AFC and NFC championship games:

• For Chiefs, Bengals, Scott shows some pretty decent-sized disdain for the (over?)confidence of Joe Burrow and the Bengals.  Yes, they've beaten the Chiefs 3 times in a row, but what else have they won?
• Mahomes ankle is obviously a huge factor, buuuuut - does it force Andy Reid into his offensive bag of tricks.
• For the game, Sasha and Scott are going with the Chiefs, Intern P (not suprisingly) is picking the Bengals to win.
• In the NFC, all three of us seemed to be concerned about Brock Purdy's mediocre performance against the Cowboys.  Can he give the Niners enough to put away the Eagles on the road?
• Both Sasha & Intern P end of picking the Eagles to win at home, While Scott thinks the niners will get a couple turnovers and ultimately cover and beat the Eagles.

In our final segment, we decided to do a fantasy draft with the remaining 4 teams, bringing in our social media expert JMizz.

• Each of us drafted 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 TE and 2 WRs for this weekends game, and we'll pay out some cash for the Winners
• Like his weekly picks, JMizz's team is terrible.  Sasha & Intern P are the early favorites.

• The Niners Seahawks ended up being the least interesting, although we talk about how impressed we are by Brock Purdy.
• The Chargers had a meltdown of epic proportions, as the only team ever to lose a playoff game with a +5 turnover differential
• The Bills looked unimpressive in a narrow win over the Dolphins, as Josh Allen literally tries to give away their season.
• As it turns out, the Vikings are Frauds, and Kirk Cousins still sucks
• The Bengals probably should have lost the game if not for a fumble on the goal-line, but more interestingly...have we seen Lamar play his last game for the Ravens
• And finally, we might have seen Tom Brady play his last game in the NFL (just maybe...)

We also made our Picks for the Divisional Round:

• Turns out we did not do that well with our Super Wildcard weekend picks: We went 1-5, and feel like the Chargers
• Intern P this week is picking Giants to cover against the eagles, and the game to go under
• Sasha is taking the Bengals to cover, and game to go over
• Scott is taking the Niners to cover, and the game to go over
• JMizz, trying to redeem himself, is taking the Chiefs to cover and the game to go over

Finally, we talk about the Sean Payton, and whether or not he is going to the Chargers - who haven't moved on from Brandon Staley yet...but would be crazy to at least not test the Sean Payton waters, right?

• The situation on field was the scariest thing we have all witnessed, exacerbated by the reaction of the players, and the uncertainty of Damar Hamlin's well-being.
• All things considered, it seemed like all involved - the NFL, Bills, Bengals, medical staff, fans - did the best they could with a really difficult situation.
• Amazing that we have received such positive news on Hamlin's health progress
• The NFL should be commended for the medical personnel that was on site and ready to act at a moment's notice, probably saving Hamlin's life.
• No perfect solution to what to do about the playoff picture, but feels like they got it mostly right (Benglas might have caught a bit of a raw deal.

With the playoff picture set, we spend some time discussing the playoff picture and picks for this weekend:

• Miraculously, Intern P came away with the regular seasons picks championship after Sasha went 0-2 this week.  Congrats to you Intern P
• We all made our picks for all playoff games - Sasha is picking the Chiefs to meet the Eagles in the Super Bowl, Intern P is picking the Niners & Bengals, and Scott is Picking the Chiefs & Niners.
• For this weeks games, Piercen is picking the Chargers to cover against the Jaguars, and the Niners to cover against the Seahawks.
• Sasha is picking both Buffalo and Cincinatti to cover big spreads
• Scott is taking the Bucs as underdogs at home, and the Vikings to cover against the giants.

Finally, we talk about the College Football Playoff Finale between George and TCU

• The game was a complete dud, and to be honest this is the problem with college Football - it's too predicatable, and the same teams (i.e. SEC) win every year.
• Not a great look for the Big 12
• Kind of a shame that the Championship ended up this way given how high quality the semi-finals were.
• Will Stetson Bennett get a chance to play in the NFL?  Who knows, he's about as tall as Brock Purdy (and Intern P)

• Who will win the AFC Central - the Bengals or the Ravens.
• We discuss whether the Titans or the jaguars will win the AFC South
• We also talk about the remaining AFC playoff teams, and decide that really none of the Jets, Patriots, Dolphins, Jaguars or Steelers are really any good.
• We also discuss Tua's latest concussion, and the ramifications for the Dolphins playoffs hopes.

We make our best bets for week 17:

• Intern P took the 49ers to cover against the Raiders and the Packers to cover against the Vikings.
• Sasha, in what appears to be some anger against Intern P, took the opposite side of both of those bets.  It's a big week for the season-long standings between the two.
• Scott is trying to get back to .500, and chose a 3-game parlay...Commanders over the Browns, Seahawks over the Jets and Patriots over the Dolphins.

We transition into our takeaways from an amazing Week 15 in the NFL.

• Scott breaks down how the improbable Raiders victory against Patriots might have saved his marraige.

• We discuss Contenders & Pretenders in both the AFC & NFC.
• Consensus has the Chiefs, Bills, Bengals as the real contenders in the AFC, with perhaps the Chargers as the scariest of the other teams left.

• Feels like we need more strikers - we don't score enough goals.
• Although Brazil is the overall favorite, Seth likes France to take home the title (and thinks that the Dutch could be an interesting bet)

Sasha lead Scott & Intern P through some Old Names in new places across both the MLB and College Football:

• Starting in the MLB, we talk about de Grom going the Rangers, Verlander to the Mets and Clayton Kershaw staying at home in LA
• in College football, we talk about Luke Fickell going to Wisconsin, Matt Rhule going to Nebraska, and Deion Sanders going to Colorado.
• We also put an APB out on Baker Mayfield - where do we think he is right now?  In a bar in Oklahoma, or on a plane to Santa Clara to meet with the 49ers...?

Finally, we recap week 13 in the NFL, and make our picks for best bets for the week to come:

• As a recap, we talk briefly about how the Bengals own the chiefs, and perhaps it's mental at this point.
• We also talk about the 49ers dominating the dolphins - are they really a contender in the AFC?
• Intern P's two picks for the week were: Texans covering against the Cowboys, and the Minnesota/Detroit over.
• Sasha took his first over/under of the year - taking the Chiefs broncos to go over.  He also picked Lions to cover against the Vikings.
• Scott is taking Seattle to cover against Carolina, and Cincinatti to cover against Cleveland.

• After a great rivalry weekend over thanksgiving, the Top 4 teams are likely to be 1) Georgia, 2) Michigan, 3) TCU, 4) USC
• We are assuming that both Georgia and Michigan will be in the Playoff regardless of championship weekend outcomes.
• TCU & USC are both likely in Win and you're in scenarios (against K-state and Utah respectively)
• If either TCU or USC lose, it opens up the door for likely 1 or 2 of three teams: Alabama, Tennessee or Ohio State.
• We debate how angry short Nick Saban will if Tennessee or Ohio State makes it over Bama
• We also discuss a potential Jim Harbaugh/Ryan Day Grudge Match (not suprisingly, we like Harbaugh in this matchup)

In the NFL, rather than breaking down week 12, we looked ahead to week 13 which has some massive matchups between contenders:

• Bills vs. Patriots on Thursday night.  Rather than talking about this game, we hear about a degenerate bet that Scott has with Friends.
• Eagles vs. Titans
• Niners vs. the Dolphins in the Mike McDaniel Bowl
• Chiefs vs. Bengals, in a rematch of last years AFC title game - but we mostly talk about how we're worried that Patrick Mahomes is going to be distracted by his newbown child.

Finally, as always we make our picks for best best of week 13 in the NFL.

• We had a rough week, as we went 3-5 last week, although in the upset of the Centry, Intern P went 2-0.
• Sasha is riding with the Lions to cover against the Jaguars & Jets to cover against the Vikings.
• Intern P is picking the Texans to cover 7 against the Browns, and the Bears/Packers to go over,
• Scott is picking Niners/Dolphins to go over, but the Broncos/Ravens to go under the total.

Next week, we'll spend some time talking about the World Cup, gearing up for the Elimination round.

• The Chiefs, after the game of the week, more or less wrapped up the AFC west with a win over the Chargers
• The Titans have the AFC South wrapped up.
• Still lots of intrigue in the AFC East and the AFC North, where Buffalo and Miami will battle it out for the AFC EAst title.
• That leaves the Chargers, Bengals, JEts and Patriots for the two final playoff spots.
• In the NFC, we're not interested in talking about the NFC South or North
• The Eagles seem to be holding on by a thread right now, battling against the Cowboys for the NFC East.
• In the West, the Niners now look to be on the rise, while the Seahawks look to rebound off of a bye.

As always we make our best bets for Week 12:

• Intern P took the Lions to cover against the Bills on Thanksgiving day, and the Bengals to cover against the Titans.
• Scott took the opposite of Intern Ps pick - the Titans to cover against the Bengals, and the Seahawks to cover against the Raiders.
• Sasha took the Chargers to cover against the Cardinals, and the Saints to cover against the 49ers.

We have some fun with Thanksgiving, picking some professional athletes as Thanksgiving personas:

• Kyrie Irving as your Brothers Girlfriend which no one really likes.
• Antonio Brown as the Crazy Aunt
• Aaron Rodgers as the senile old Grandpa who talks about Hyuasca
• Russell Wilson as the person who just have to give the Thanksgiving day speech
• Deshaun watson as your creepy Uncle
• And Taylor Heinecke as the Random guy who shows up off the street (although it really should have been Jeff Saturday)

• The Bills/Vikings game was bananas, from Justin Jefferson's amazing catch, to Josh Allen's turnover problems.
• Allen has now turned the ball over 9 times in the last 3 games, and we are starting to question his ability to perform in the clutch. (Scott calls him a front-runner)
• The old guy fight back, and both Brady & Rodgers got wins on Sunday

We look ahead to week 11 of the NFL:

• A big Thursday night game between the Titans & Packers.
• Cowboys try to rebound against the Vikings who are riding high (and presumable Kirk Cousins wearing another chain on the way home)
• Can the Bills beat the browns?
• And the Chiefs/Chargers play an essential elimination game in the AFC west.

We make our best bets for the Week 11:

• Sasha is taking the Panthers & the Vikings to cover
• Scott is taking the Cardinals and the Broncos to cover (Yikes)

• We are still 6 games over .500 on the year, all due to Sasha

• Finally, we all think the Jets, Giants, and Falcons are fake contenders, mostly because of poor quarterback play.
