Technology in warfare can certainly evolve and develop in ways that do not disrupt our basic understanding of what is going on. From the day that two tribes were throwing rocks at each other to the time when two nation states were launching missiles at each other, with the era of trebuchets in between, everyone understands the basic concept involved. All of it is right-handed warfare, with the projectiles simply differing in weight, speed, and behavior on impact.

So let us talk about that impotent contemporary ritual called the “land acknowledgment.” Nowadays when an event or activity is going to be taking place somewhere, or an institution is opening, the proceedings will often begin with a land acknowledgment. This is a little empty gesture recognizing the indigenous people who used to live there. Along with the implication that nothing will be done about it.

Cultural gaslighting is attempted when people in charge of something take some absurdity, throw a saddle on it, and then stand next to it, booted, spurred, and ready to ride. For example, the absurdity could be saying that the attempted beheading in Ireland was the result of us not being welcoming and inclusive enough. And believe me, they will ride that absurdity as long as the people out there put up with it. Who are you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes?

The system of anarcho/tyranny begins by being slack with native criminals, and harsh with those who resist them. A homeowner who defends his property against a burglar can get in far more trouble than the burglars do. In the UK, you can get in more trouble for posting a meme about violent immigrants than you can for being a violent immigrant. And it all begins with a “soft on crime” mentality, which is hard on anyone who does not join in with the soft on crime approach.

Anarcho/tyranny is then taken to the next level with unrestricted immigration. You not only let in the Third World, but you also let in Third World levels of criminality. At a certain point, the law-abiding explode, and nine times out of ten this just strengthens the hand of the anarcho/tyrants. They say, “white privilege now includes burning Belfast down, and so we clearly need to take steps and implement measures."

The name Israel was given to Jacob at Peniel (Gen. 32) when he was on his way to reunite with his brother Esau—doing so while not knowing if that reunion was going to be bloody or not. God had told him to return, and had promised that such a return would be blessed. What I am addressing here is the rank and manifest hypocrisy. In the original tweet, my point was that a hypocrite has no right to proclaim that Christ is king over all when it is manifestly clear that He is not king of his own mouth, or keyboard, or meme strategies. I have already raised the central concern that we should have concerning AI, which is the problem that I have identified as AI-dolatry. AI excels at role-playing and has no scruples about role-playing as the Most High God...When professional worriers express their concerns about the impact of AI, it is often the economic side of things that comes to the fore. We are of course talking about the indictments that were just handed down by the Department of Justice. Secularism is not a workable common sense solution for getting along in a pluralistic society. Secularism is simply apostasy and godlessness. And the fact that there are numerous Protestant theologians and ministers who are privately orthodox, and who would never themselves burn incense to the Queen of heaven on their own rooftops, but who nevertheless publicly argue for a “neutral” public square illustrates—as few other things could illustrate—that the heresy of secularism has made deep inroads among us. So the war in Iran has been going on for a little over a month now, and enough of it has unfolded that I am now being asked on the regular what I think of the big picture....There is an additional factor in all of this in bello discussion. Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of War, worships as part of our church service in Washington D.C. How does that factor into all of this?...On the one hand, some critics want us to intervene and “make Pete stop it.” But then, think for a minute. One of the ways to test whether truth is a person’s absolute, as opposed to whether his tribal loyalty is, would be by seeing whether he ever acknowledges that his political opponent, the one who is against his tribe, has ever made a fair point. AI is a very slick search engine. You need to be careful with this one though. When you use google to search, it gives you a column of links, and the clear implication is that you need to evaluate the claims made on your own. “These are places that talk about your question, and now you are on your own.” But AI responds to you with an authoritative voice, telling you that this is the way it is. But it got that info by scrubbing the entire web, and there is a lot of bum dope out there. In addition, AI doesn’t just search for things, it just flat makes things up. More than one attorney has gotten busted for submitting a brief with non-existent court cases in it. AI is not a truth machine, but rather a consensus machine, so take care.

We already have had a pastor setting up chatbot hot line, with the semblance of his voice, so that parishioners can call and get comfort and counsel from something that is no more than a souped-up answering machine. Now with this literalist hermeneutic, it was natural that dispensationalists would interpret the many passages in the Old Testament that prophesied a glorious future for Israel as being about the literal nation of physical Israel (“literal unless absurd”)...And so this is one of the central reasons why evangelicals tend to have a default setting in support of Israel. Jesse Jackson died yesterday, at the age of 84. He was hailed at his passing for being a civil rights icon, but this brings up a delicate issue. Jackson has now gone to meet his Maker, but the definition of “rights” that he fought so hard to establish——and in many ways successfully—was a truly destructive view of rights. One of the very best things we could possibly do for everyone—blacks especially—is repeal the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

Last week, the Christianity Today podcast devoted some time to the CNN interview. Moore was “enraged” by the fact that there will be so many non-Christians who will watch the CNN interview and think that “this is Christianity.” Now I do grant that what I am talking about is not Christianity Today. It is more like . . . I don’t know . . . Christianity yesterday. When surrendered and restored, God makes possible a profound affection and love for The Things of Earth. The man who hates his wife (Luke 14:26) is thus equipped to love her as Christ loved the church (Eph. 5:25). The man who places home and hearth before Christ is trying to make his home a place where people will bite and devour one another (Gal. 5:15).

This is a box that people really don’t understand as they are deciding to open it up. All they know is that the label says home and hearth, blood and soil . . . nothing but wholesome happy thoughts inside. They are blindly reacting to the globalist imperative that insists we deracinate everything and everybody, and because it is an reaction, they lurch into a flirtation with the wrong kind of blood and soil ideology.
