I was not present at the birth of baby Jesus, yet
when people see me, they think of Christmas.

I am happy to be chosen to give you the feeling of
Christmas.

I am love and hope. My beautiful red berries speak
of love and my shiny green leaves give you hope.
You are delighted when you see me in the Winter
time, and I am happy to bring you the good news:
"Christ was born in Bethlehem".

For this Christmas time, I share with you the gifts
of Love and Hope. Keep them safe in your heart
and share them widely yourself.

I was Mary’s donkey when we travelled all the way
from Nazareth to Bethlehem. It was a hard
journey for us all, but especially for Mary, even
though I was carrying her. She could feel every
step I made and she was worried for her child.
I tried to step as carefully as I could.

When we reached the stable, there was hay to eat,
but I made sure to leave most of it for Mary - to lie
down softly - and some for the crib for baby Jesus.

What a long journey – and what a wonderful
night when Jesus was born. I heard the Angels sing
that night & trumpets were sounding in the sky !
They were calling: “He is born”.

And soon we were on our next journey.

I wish you my special blessings on your journeys -
the gifts of Commitment and Trust.

I am not just any dog. I was locked up when Mary
and Joseph came to our door. My master told
them that our house was full. Yes, it was full, he
was right, but I wanted to give them a space in our
house.

I could tell how important they were, they were
carrying a cloud of love with them.

I barked and barked to make myself be heard, but
my master didn’t understand what I was saying.
As soon as I was free, I ran away and looked for
Mary and Joseph until I found them in the stable.

I sat with Joseph and went everywhere he went,
supporting him as much as I could.

Joseph always walked with a big stick. He was a
kind man, with bright blue-gray eyes, strong hands
and a kind heart. He treated me like the friend I
was to him and Mary.

I was there for the birth of baby Jesus, and I was
their companion when they left and went on their
next journey.

I was so glad to be there for them as we went
through many adventures together.

Jesus named me Boron and he said that this means
“brave” in his language.

I wish you Courage for this Christmas time.

I was very tired after our long journey, even
though I was able to sit on our donkey.

My darling Joseph walked the whole way with a
long stick which was helping him walk steadily.
He wasn’t a young man anymore, but he was so
strong, one of the strongest of the strong.
Without his help, I would not have been able to
manage this journey to Bethlehem.

He saved my life and the life of baby Jesus.
Truly, he is a good man, and he deserves much
more appreciation for helping Jesus to be alive !

I am so grateful to him and also to all the animals
for helping us to keep baby Jesus warm and safe.

Gratitude is the blessing I send to you this
Christmas time – there is nothing more powerful
except Love itself.

We are grateful to you that you are reading our
story and meeting us in this way.

As you know, Christ is born daily in every
newborn child.

We have a duty to protect our little ones as much
as we can: to love them, take care of them, let
them grow, blossom and set them free.

We are all one.

I was already in the stable when the Holy Family
arrived. At first, I didn’t understand why they
were there. People usually only came to fetch me
to plough the field or bring in the hay, otherwise
they stayed in their warm little house.

But when Mary lay down on the hay, I could see
that she was ready to give birth. The beautiful
glow around her belly told me that a special being
was ready to be born.

What could I do to give her relief ? All I had was
the warmth of my body, so I lay right beside her to
keep her warm. I could feel that she was grateful.
Mary talked with us animals. She stroked my side
and told me that she was glad that I was here.

She was not afraid, but she was concerned for her
baby. She said that the baby had been announced
to her by an Angel and that she was going to take
good care of him.

To me, Mary felt like an Angel too, and when
Jesus was born, there was so much light around
him and his parents Mary and Joseph that we
animals were all amazed.

It felt as if a new light was born ! I had never seen
this kind of light before ! We were baby Jesus’ first
family and I am very proud of that.

Be the Light that you are – that’s what I wish for
you for this Christmas time.

I am a King in my country in the Far East. I am
also a philosopher and astrologer. We knew of the
prophecy that a new King will be born and I knew
the sign we were to look out for: A shining star.

When it appeared, I set out on my camel with
some of my court coming with me for a while.
But the journey was long and hard and we
travelled many moons. So I sent them all home
when I met up with Kings from other countries
who were also following the star.

We shared our stories and knowledge about the
prophecy, and towards the end of the journey, we
met a King in a palace. He was not pleased when
we told him that we were searching for a new King
who was to be born nearby.

We sensed that he would endanger the new King,
so when we set off, we decided that we would
keep the new King secret, if ever we found him.

After a few days’ journey, we finally found where
the new King was born. The star stood right above
the place, and it was a small stable. From the
stable, there was a beautiful light shining out.

We knew that we had found the King – not in a
palace, but in a crib and with his parents and
many animals around to keep him company.

We dismounted from our camels and approached
the baby Jesus and his parents Mary and Joseph in
reverence and awe. So much light was shining
from their hearts. We bowed and kneeled at the
crib where there were shepherds with their sheep.

We offered our gifts to the child and his parents –
Gold, Myrrh, and I had brought Frankincense
from my country.

But what we received was so much more :
Peace in our hearts, a blessing from the small child
and a sense that all is well and will be forever.

We just wanted to sit with this beautiful Messiah
and share stories with the shepherds and with
Mary and Joseph.

We also told them about the King we had met on
the way, who didn’t seem pleased about a new
King’s birth and encouraged the little family to
travel onwards as soon as possible, to keep their
new born son safe.

When it was time to return to our countries, we
bowed deeply before the new King of Love and he
gave us his blessing, touching each of our heads
and giving us his Light and Love on our way.

We travelled home and told everybody on our way
the news of the baby Jesus, born in Bethlehem, the
Messiah and new King.

For you for this Christmas time, I gift you with
the Light & Love I received from the Christ Child.

I was excited to be the way shower for the birth of
Christ in your world. How else would you have
known that he was born ? His light shining
around him was also my light, the light of the
Holy Spirit.

I am overjoyed that the Kings followed my trail
and found the stable where he lay as well as the
shepherds and all the animals too.

We are stars and seem far away from you, but we
care about you deeply - and about your destiny.
We love each one of you as a brother or sister –
you have star light inside you too, just like your
brother, Jesus the Christ.

Blessings to you from high above for this
Christmas time. The stars gift you with the Light
of your Soul. Walk on Earth, little Starlings and
shine your light like we do !

Maybe I don’t appear in all the Chirstmas stories,
but I was there when Mary and Joseph came into
the stable and made their bed on the hay.

I was quite small and I wondered why these people
were here. Mary especially had a glowing light
around her, and there was also light shining
around both of them.

When Joseph took the crib and filled it with hay, it
looked so warm and inviting that I snuggled into it
to sleep. When I woke up, I saw that some of my
feathers stayed in the crib.

When Mary’s baby arrived, she lay him in this
small bed. I was glad to know that I had made it a
little softer with my feathers. I cuddled up to baby
Jesus and tried to keep him warm.

I wish you a blessed Christmas time – keep each
other Happy and Well.

I would like to tell you my story of the first
Christmas. I was Mary's husband and Mary and I
were very much in love. I didn’t want her to have
to travel all this way to Bethlehem, but this is what
we had to do.

Mary said that an Angel had announced that Mary
would bear us a child. I was amazed that this was
happening for us and promised that I would keep
Mary and the little one safe and sound.

When we didn’t find a bed for Mary, but only a
stable to stay, I worried that I wasn’t able to care
properly for Mary and for our child. But we made
the best of this difficult situation and turned a crib
into a bed for the child.

Mary gave birth to our dearest baby boy and truly
a strong light seemed to shine from his heart and
from Mary’s heart.

I knew in my heart that this was a very special
moment for us, but I didn’t know that it would
also be a special moment that would be celebrated
for centuries, millennia even, all around the world.
How could we know ? Here was a little child to
take care of.

When three Kings appeared at our stable door, I
didn’t know whether to be dismayed or overjoyed.
Wanting to protect my family, I first stood in
front of them and tried to shield them.

The three Kings came on the backs of camels and
said that they had followed a shining star. They
seemed to know our child already and gave much
reverence to baby Jesus.

They brought with them many gifts and lay them
down in front of our child. We were amazed at all
this and asked where they had come from. We
wanted to offer them food and drink as is our
custom when travellers visit our house. We could
only give them some water, which they drank
gratefully. They shared with us what little food
they had left and told us of their long journey
from the Far East.

We gathered that they were Magi, seers, and that
they had learned about a prophecy which said that
a King was going to be born at this time.

They said that they followed the sign – a bright
star in the sky – and it showed them the way to
this stable.

When Mary told them that an Angel had
announced the birth of baby Jesus, everybody
shared what they had heard, felt and known about
this special birth.

I couldn’t believe that we were sitting in a stable
with three wise men from the East, with an ox and
a donkey, a cat, a dog and a little chick by our side,
all in awe of our beautiful child !

For this Christmas time, I offer you the gift of
Family, of Community which can come in every
shape or form. Blessings on your kind of Family.

I am not just any cat, I was a cat at the barn where
Mary and Joseph arrived. I lived in the hay and
jumped all around the stable as I pleased.

When Joseph opened the stable door, I got a fright
and hid myself in the eaves.

But when I saw Mary, I peeped out and quickly
came down to see her. She is a kind Lady, full of
grace, and I let her stroke my back. When she lay
down, I lay beside her head and sometimes on her
chest. She was tired and needed warmth and
courage to go on.

I could see the glow of the little one shining
through her belly. We were all in awe how much
light and how much love was already pouring over
us. I tried to play with the beams of light coming
from her belly.

Finally, she gave birth among all of the animals.
We were her midwives and comforters and when
baby Jesus was born, Joseph lay him into the crib.
We all sat around it in amazement.

We were still in deep contemplation when the
three men appeared at the door and brought
wondersome presents for the baby. They called
him Messiah, and offered him Gold, Myrrh and
Frankincence, very special gifts worthy for a King.
They said that they had travelled for many moons
and followed a shining star.

Who has ever heard such a tale ! When I had
children myself, I told them the story, and they
told their children too.

We all wish you Awe and Wonder for this
Christmas time.

You are told that we have great healing power and
this is the truth. You also have a custom to meet
under the Mistletoe around the time of Christmas.

We find this most delightful. We are indeed
healers and have been used for healing for
centuries. If people knew of our great powers of
healing, they would make use of us even more.

We like to be the bringers of love and good
fortune, so we bless those who meet under the
Mistletoe with Love and Happiness and with Joy
for the whole year to come.

Woolly sheep we are, very soft and kind souls.

When the Angels appeared in the sky and told
their tale, our shepherds jumped up in
amazement. They heard the announcement and
started moving and even running to the place the
Angels had told them about.

We ran along with them, as we knew about the
birth of Christ beforehand. All the animals knew
that this great event was going to happen, and I
was so happy and glad to be there.

First we saw so much light in the sky as there is
when there is a lightning. Then we saw so many
beings in the sky as there are when a huge flock of
birds fly around. They were in the sky, but were
not birds, as they had faces and wings.

You see us high above and yet we have a home in
your heart.

We announced the birth of baby Jesus to all
mankind, but first to the shepherds, for they were
tending their sheep at night. We came as a host of
Angels in the sky, much light and sounds of glory
all around us.

"He is born" we trumpeted from the sky, and in
truth, Christ was born in Bethlehem, as he is born
each day in your hearts and especially when a child
is born.

We are your helpers, and we send you love and
light from above. May you be blessed with Light
in your heart and with Love from above.

We are the camels who brought the Wise Kings all
the way to Bethlehem. We travelled through
deserts and rivers, through many days and nights
and carried the Holy Men to this sacred place.

We were tired sometimes, and we got very little
rest, as we had to arrive at the appointed time,
always following a star overhead.

Sometimes, we heard the men talking together,
wondering if they would ever find this special
King. Sometimes, they fell silent, and pondered if
they should give up on their quest. But there was
always one who could encourage the others to go
on regardless. They were from different tribes,
different countries even, but they became great
friends on this journey.

On our way, we stopped at a great palace of a King
who listened

Our masters noticed that this was a jealous King
who wanted to hurt the new King, so we rode
even faster now to find the place where the new
King was born.

When they met Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus,
they gave them their gifts which we had carried
along: Gold, Myrrh and Frankincense. They
pledged their life to this little child and told the
parents about the danger from the other King.

Joseph and Mary listened and even though they
were still tired from the journey, they travelled on
to find a safe place for them and their newborn
child. 

The three Wise Men saddled us again, and
we returned to our homes in the Far East. They
told everybody on the way that we had met the
New King in Bethlehem and that he was the
Messiah, the Saviour of the World.

I am a mouse and I lived in the hay in the stable
where Mary and Joseph stopped for the night.

I was very small, and nobody noticed me, except
for the cat who was jumping around on the roof.

During the time when Jesus arrived, there was
Peace between cats and mice, between cats and
dogs and between all the animals. We all lay beside
the new born baby Jesus.

For a while, there was peace and love in the world.
Even a little mouse like me could take part in the
amazing moment when there were shepherds and
Kings and sheep & camels around this little barn.

I brought my little mice children to witness this
moment. I showed them to baby Jesus, and I saw
him smile at my tiny children.

For this Christmas time I gift you with the power
of Witnessing, of being present - of Presence.

I travelled from the Far East to find this child.
Truly, I didn’t expect this King to live in a palace,
but I also didn’t expect a shed.

I had been waiting for this opportunity for so
long, it consumed most of my life. And yet, it was
all worth it, all the difficult times, every moment
of doubt, of wondering if it wasn’t all an illusion.

My doubt has been transformed to faith and I am
proud to be able to say: “I have seen the King”.
I didn’t know what gifts to bring, so I brought
him the most precious substance we have for
healing, clearing and for ceremony: Myrrh.

This gift, although very valuable, a present fit for a
King, is nothing compared to the greatness of this
child, this King of the Heart.

My life has been worth living, because I made it to
Bethlehem at the appointed time – through many
hardships, difficulties and losing many friends
who ridiculed me.

I am honoured to say: I am a loyal friend to this
emerging King.

And for this Christmas time I bless you with the
gift of Loyalty.

I am glad that you are celebrating this special time.
I hold each one of you in my arms and carry you
through life. I wish you stability and give you a
good foundation.

When Mary and Joseph were finally welcomed in
the stable, they could rest for a while, and when
Jesus arrived, a whole new era began. For a
moment, they were all in one place: the family, the
wise men, the shepherds and the animals.

I carried them too, as I carry you now, even as they
travelled on.

Just as I was there for them, I am always here for
you, holding you in my arms.

We were quiet, at night, resting with our sheep,
when the heavens opened.

There were sounds we had never heard before, and
before us we saw light filled beings talking with us.
They were Angels, smiling and telling us that a
Saviour of the world had been born in Bethlehem.

Well, we jumped up and all ran through the fields,
taking our sheep along.

There he lay, in a stable, with his mother and
father by his side, and many animals around him
too.

Our sheep were not afraid and stepped right up to
this new born baby.

We couldn’t believe it: the Saviour of the world
born in a little stable ?

He felt like one of us – one of our kind.

Later, much later, when he was grown up and
travelling, he was also called a Shepherd – truly
one of us now.

For this Christmas time we gift you with the
blessing of Caring and Guiding.

We were not there at the birth of Christ. But this
event was talked about throughout the animal
kingdom – and very soon everyone knew about it.

We live close to the North Pole, far away from
Bethlehem, but when we heard about the birth of
Jesus, we were so happy, we wanted to become
part of the celebrations.

So when we were asked to bring gifts to children
big and small, we were glad to help.

Every year we pull a sleigh across the sky, filled
with the most wonderful presents.

We love to bring the presnts to the children and
see their happy smiles.

But the biggest present of all are the children
themselves, every one. They are what Christmas is
all about.

For this Christmas time, we share with you the
gifts of Awe and Wonder and hope that you will
find your own Christ child inside.

It is there, it is waiting for you to recognize it, play
with it and let it take you by the hand, and trust it.
You can really trust your inner Child.

I also came from the East - and a bit more from the
South than my fellow travellers. We journied
together: Caspar, Balthasar and I - to find the King
we were searching for.

Little did we know that we would find him in a
stable in Bethlehem ! We just followed the bright
star – day and night. This star was so bright, you
could see it during most of the day as well !

I was very tired on this journey, but my fellow
Kings and friends kept me awake and helped me
through this journey. At home I had a palace, and
many people waiting on me. I had food and drink
in plenty. On our journey all we had were our
camels and each other for company.

Many times we were tempted to give up the search
too, like others had done before us, but something
helped us to keep going.

The star who was guiding us also gave us courage
and strength.

When we came to Bethlehem, we didn’t need to
follow the star anymore. One stable shone as
brightly as the sun, and as we approached, we saw
the blessed Mary and Joseph and their new born
in the crib.

He was so small and yet so radiant. We bowed our
heads before the new King, and Mary let us hold
the baby in our arms.

How blessed were we to hold the Christ Child and
see him smile ! This made all the journeys
worthwhile, and all the hardships seemed but a
dream compared to this amazing event.

I will never forgot this moment for all of my life !

I brought the new King and his parents the gift of
Gold from my country.

All the gold in the world could not weigh up this
moment of Joy with the baby Jesus in my arms –
I am forever grateful that I had the chance to meet
the Christ in this way.

For this Christmas time, I gift you the blessings of
Joy and Courage, for this is what you need in this
world now.

I was present at the birth of our Saviour, Jesus
Christ.

He was prophecied among the animals too, and
many of us made their way to the little stable in
Bethlehem.

I am also a symbol for the Holy Spirit, the love
and peace that was living in the family of Mary,
Joseph and little Jesus.

When you look at the stable in your heart, you can
see me on the roof, looking down on the crib,
to see Mary, Joseph and the new born Christ.

Mary was blessed with this child, like many of you
are blessed with children also.

My blessing for you this Christmas time is Peace.
May you hear, feel, see and share Peace wherever
you wander and go.

I am so proud that I was chosen to celebrate
Christmas with you.

All of me gets filled with light, and light shines all
around me during Christmas time.

You place candles and lights on me to show that
light – it is a joy to be part of this special day !

I bless you with the Light of the Christmas Tree.

I am a happy soul. I love to be with you when you
work in the garden and when you spend time in
nature. I love to hop around and find good food
and I’m grateful for all the seeds you share with
me.

In Winter, you see me as a symbol for the
Christmas time.

I am but small, but my heart is big. You see my
bright red breast: it shows you, how the love in
your heart can spread and shine into the world.

I was not there, when the Christ child was born,
but other birds were there, and they shared the
news far and wide to many countries.

I share with you what I heard from these birds:

“A King was born in a stable small,
A King and Saviour of us all.
The world is better now with him
And all the hearts are listening in
To the voice of Christ inside,
To the voice of Love inside.”

My blessing for you for this Christmas time is
Hearing your Heart, hearing your Inner Voice and
Shining your Love to the world.

to speak up with your voice.

With a spring in your step
I bless you with forgiveness
for everyone you've met.
